(Y/N) POV, in case I have to remind you💕

Me and Tanjiro silently walked down the stairs, and were engulfed into a hug by Nezuko.

"Nezuko..!" Tanjiro said.

We were surprised, but of course we hugged her back.

"Awww Nezuko. You did a great job out there hun." I baby-talked her, and she 'hmm hmmm!'-ed in reply.

She then did a 180 and ran to hug Tamayo-san, who was in shock. Yushiro, of course, looked at her with a 'bitch I-' expression. Maybe a bit of Jelly as well ✨

She pat Yushiro's head, who smacked her hand away.

"Nezuko has been like this from a while ago.." Tamayo said. "Do you think she's alright?"

"Nezuko probably thinks of you as family now, so that's why she's so clingy." Tanjiro chuckled.

I took the opportunity of Yushiro being distracted by Nezuko to sneak behind the him without making a single sound. Once I was right behind him, I pounced onto him, wrapping my arms around his neck.

He immediately escaped my grip, jumping back like a cat.
"C'mon man! Just one hug won't hurt!" I whined, opening my arms wide for a hug.

"No way Monoma!" He scoffed, pink dusting his cheeks.

I wanted to say, 'your expression says different though' but decided to keep it to myself and instead raised my eyebrows. "Capping won't do."

"What the hell does capping mean?!"

We both froze our bickering when we noticed that Tamayo, who was still hugging Nezuko, started to cry.

"A-AH! SORRY TAMAYO-SAN!!" Tanjiro started panicking, "Nezuko, can you please let g-"

Tamayo tightened her grip around Nezuko, burying her face into her neck. "Thank you, Nezuko-san."

"Me and Yushiro will be leaving this place." Tamayo stated. "It is too dangerous for us now that Kibutsuji has discovered our location. And one more thing,"

"Yes?" Tanjiro stammered.

"Shall we take in Nezuko?" She offered.

"...pardon?" I mentally doubted my ears.

"I cannot guarantee absolute safety, but I do believe that it is less threatening than to take her out into battlefields." Tamayo explained, ignoring Yushiro's glare that screamed 'oh god please no, NO, NOOOOO'.

Tanjiro wavered a bit, and I glanced at Nezuko, who kept a blank face as always. She suddenly grabbed my hand, then Tanjiro's, and looked at us dead in the eye, with a face of confidence.
