As soon as I knew where Karkat was, I ran straight for him. He and I had the same gym class and he was always in the locker room so I knew that was where he would be. When I reached the locker room door Sollux was standing there apparently guarding the door.

"Sollux get out of my way." I growled at him through gritted teeth.

"ii am not goiing two let you go iin there and hurt karkat. he want2 two be alone." He growled back.

"Sollux I don't want to hurt Karkat I just want to talk to him." I said getting annoyed.

"ii don't care. no one ii2 goiing iin there." He said turning his nose up to me.

"I don't want to hurt you Sollux, just let me through." I said about ready to punch his smug grin off his face. He tuned me out apparently after almost a minute of me staring him down through my glasses. I've had enough of his shit today. I thought as I tackled him to the wall and threw him at a rack of basketballs. I ran in the locker room and saw Karkat with his head in his hands quietly sobbing. I didn't know what I was doing as I caught myself towering over the frightened Karkat. What was I planning on doing.

As I stared down at Karkat for a long time. Until he broke the silence.

"W-what do you want S-strider?" He said almost in a cry. I could tell he didn't want it to come out that way.

I didn't respond not only because I didn't know what to say but because I had no words. I simply pulled the bottle out of my pocket and he fell on the ground sobbing more. I sat on the ground with him for a while with my arm wrapped around him.

Why didn't he tell anyone?
Who else knew?
How could I help?
Would he let me help?

A million questions ran through my mind. But no words actually came. I was afraid I would upset him more.

"P-please don't tell anyone." He sobbed quietly. I rolled the bottle in my hand for a while until I took his hand and gave it back to him.

"So, um, we have a project to do together this week for science if you want to come over to my place today after school." I said breaking the silence. He looked up at me with teary confused eyes. I'm sure he wasn't expecting me to say that or anything at all but I could tell he was happy I didn't bring anything else up.

"S-sure. Meet me at the library after school and you could take me." He said getting up and drying the tears off his face. He walked to the door without another word but stopped before exiting.

"Um, thank you, I guess." He said not looking back.
