INT. DIONYSUS' CAR — EARLY MORNING

Dionysus turns up the volume of his speaker as he tunes in to their university radio. He is stuck in traffic and taps on his steering wheel as the music fades.

ARIADNE
Good morning, Serendiptians! It's ya girl, DJ Aria! We know it's Monday again but we hope you're staying motivated as you stay tuned in to our station.

His ears perk when he hears her voice over the radio again. He didn't know that she is still doing this stint, he thought that it was only for a semester.

VIOLET
Since we are extending our stint for another semester and hopefully our last sem before we finally get that diploma, Aria and I thought of a new segment for our show.

ARIADNE
Yes, that's right! You can now call every Monday for your love problems and we'll try to help you.

VIOLET
This segment will start today. We are now accepting callers. Please give us a call at 2626, and by using your university sim, the call is automatically free.

ARIADNE
Call now and we will try to solve your love problems!

Dionysus repeatedly taps his steering wheel, thinking if he should call because he is bored in the middle of traffic. He finally gives in and dials the number. He pinches his nose in an effort to change his voice.

ARIADNE
We have a caller!

DIONYSUS
Hello?

ARIADNE
Hi! Yes? Name?

DIONYSUS
May I give you my code name instead?

VIOLET
Sure thing! We value your anonymity so you may give us a fake name or code name if you are not comfortable in giving your real name.

DIONYSUS
Uh... Bacchus.

ARIADNE
Okay, Bacchus. How may we help you with your love problem today?

Dionysus hesitates. Ariadne and Violet seem oblivious that it is him but his code name might be give away.

DIONYSUS
Ah... how should I start this.. well, there's this girl who I met accidentally then I fell for her...

VIOLET
Ohhhh, past tense. So I guess it didn't end well?

DIONYSUS
Yes. She.. uhm... had another guy.

ARIADNE
Did she cheat?

DIONYSUS
No! No... nothing like that.

ARIADNE
Go on.

DIONYSUS
She liked someone else but recently, she told me that they never really happened. Syempre akala ko dati, mayro'n. Kasi pinili niya eh. I was mad. I was hurt. I was trying to let go... ngayon hindi ko alam gagawin ko kasi it seems like she wants me back.

VIOLET
Ay specialization ni Aria 'yan kasi napagdaanan niya.

Violet and Ariadne laugh, not knowing that it is truly Ariadne's situation that Dionysus is talking about.

ARIADNE
Did you let go?

DIONYSUS
I wanted to.

VIOLET
Bakit past tense?

DIONYSUS
She wouldn't let me.

ARIADNE
I kinda understand.

Dionysus wants to laugh at her comment. She is really clueless that he is talking about her. Of course, she should understand because it's her.

DIONYSUS
Why?

ARIADNE
Hm.. kasi baka late niya lang na-realize, 'di ba?
Ayaw mo na ba sa kanya?

DIONYSUS
Gusto. But... I don't know. I'm not really sure if I can trust her with my heart again.

ARIADNE
Baka naman kung bibigyan mo siya ng chance, she'll try to make it right this time. Hindi naman perpekto ang pagmamahal pero hindi ibig sabihin nun, hindi na totoo.

DIONYSUS
Sa tingin mo?

ARIADNE
Oo. Ako kasi, parang same situation sa girl mo. Although I couldn't regret my choice because it is a learning experience for me, pero gusto kong bumawi sa kanya. Gusto kong gawin ng tama ngayon kung bibigyan niya ako ng chance. Pero ikaw, hindi kita pinipilit. Dapat sa'yo manggaling 'yung acceptance and forgiveness.

DIONYSUS
Gusto ko ligawan niya ako.

Ariadne laughs at his remark before she finally answers.

ARIADNE
Then I'll court you.
