XXXII.

EXT. QUADRI PARK — NOON

Dionysus sees Ariadne walking all by herself. He runs up to her and catches her wrist to make her stop.

ARIADNE
Oh! Hey...

DIONYSUS
Why are you alone? Where are your friends?

ARIADNE
Kadarating ko lang dito, eh. Mamaya pa class namin. Maaga lang ako.

DIONYSUS
Lunch tayo?

ARIADNE
Nasa'n friends mo?

DIONYSUS
Nakatambay sa dorm ni Pan. Susunod sana ako sa kanila kaso nakita kita.

ARIADNE
Eh 'di sama ka na lang sa kanila?

DIONYSUS
Ayoko nga. Nandito ka eh.

Ariadne shakes her head at his answer. Dionysus smiles while still holding her wrist.

ARIADNE
Okay lang naman ako on my own.

DIONYSUS
Kain na kasi tayo.

Ariadne is about to reply but they are interrupted by Theseus who stopped beside her.

THESEUS
Aria! Hey!

ARIADNE
Uy, Theo...

Ariadne shyly looks at him and Dionysus tightens his grip to her wrist unconsciously.

THESEUS
Pakilala mo naman ako.

ARIADNE
Okay, uhm... Theo, this is Dion. Dion, this is Theo.

Theseus immediately grabs Dionysus' hand. Ariadne looks at the two of them awkwardly, not knowing what to say.

THESEUS
Pare, nice to finally meet you. I'm a fan! Actually, nagpapakuha nga ako kay Aria ng tickets sa race mo for this weekend. Baka naman—

DIONYSUS
May patago ka?

Dionysus raises his brow and Ariadne softly nudges him on his side. Theseus looks unbothered.

THESEUS
I didn't get that, pare. What did you say? Sabi ni Aria, gagawan niya ng paraan 'yung tickets kasi hindi raw siya makakahingi sa'yo.

Dionysus clenches his fist. Aria sees it and immediately holds his fist. She whispers and tries to calm him down.

ARIADNE
Dion, no. Please.

Dionysus heaves a sigh and unwraps his fist. He takes Ariadne's hand and wrap his fingers into hers. They are now holding hands and it calmed him down before he turns to Theseus.

THESEUS
Oh. Are you guys dating? Sabi ni Aria, friends la—

DIONYSUS
No tickets.

ARIADNE
Sorry, Theo. Alis na kami.

Ariadne pulls Dionysus away from Theseus but Dionysus stops her.

DIONYSUS
Hey, one more thing... can you please stop asking favors from her? She's not your errand girl.

ARIADNE
Dion...

THESEUS
Huh?

DIONYSUS
Bingi ka? First, I said, wala kang patago na tickets para humingi na lang sa akin or kay Aria. Second, stop asking her to do stuff for you. May tenga ka, gamitin mo para marinig mo ako nang malinaw. May utak ka, gamitin mo para gumawa ng sarili mong thesis.

Dionysus finally grabs Ariadne, leaving Theseus in shock.
