A/N: I really appreciate your patience while waiting for the next chapter!  I've decided I'm not going to do daily updates anymore because I have far too much schoolwork and it's what's best for my own mental health.  I'm sorry if this disappoints you, but I want my work to be the best I can make it, and a lot of the chapters I've tried writing just weren't cutting it.  Anyway, I appreciate all of your support and hope you continue to read the story!

"You can't have beer in the common room!"  I shouted.

"Would you keep it down?  Filch will hear you, and I don't want our party shut down because of your big mouth."  Dean spat back.

"We'll get expelled...  Oh my goodness my parents are going to murder me!"

"Lighten up, nobody will find out."

Hermione looked at me in confusion, "Aren't you the one who suggested drinking Firewhiskey at Hogsmeade?"

"That," I started, "Was a joke.  The only time I ever drink alcohol is at a nice family dinner, and even then I feel a bit twitchy about it."

"Fine.  Then don't drink any.  But you're not ruining the night for the rest of us."

"Fine."  I repeated, "But if we get caught, I was never here."

He laughed before placing another beer keg beside the wall, and I began to regret encouraging Dean to throw this party.

"Don't you dare try and silence me!"  The fat lady shrieked.

Unfortunately for myself, I had landed on "painting-duty".  I, of course, didn't want the job, but it was either that or stock up on liquor, and I was not going to involve myself in those illegal affairs.  Silencing a painting seemed like the much safer option, but definitely not the easier.

"It'll only be for one night!"  I reasoned, "You can go to one of the other paintings!"

"But I don't want to go to one of the other paintings!  If you try using that wretched spell on me one more time, I'll tell Dumbledore what you're up to."

"Listen, it's either I silence you for good or I silence you for just this night.  Take your pick."

She rolled her eyes, "Get it over with, then."

I conjured the Silencing Charm with a smug look on my face before returning back inside.

"All set?"  Seamus asked.

"Almost.  Let me go and get changed quickly."

"You girls and your obsession with your looks.  It makes no sense."  He scoffed.

"Some people just like to go to places dressed nicely, and not in a school jumper that has an ash-stain from the potion you blew up today in Snape's class."

He chuckled, "Fair point, well go on, then.  Don't leave us here waiting for you for too long."

I ran upstairs quickly and threw off my uniform, replacing it with a small black minidress that I thought looked nice.

"See?"  I said to Seamus, who hadn't even changed spots since I had left, "That was quick, wasn't it?"

"Quick enough."  He sneered before turning over to Dean and striking up a conversation with his friend.

Students began to pour in excitedly as loud rock music roared from the speakers.  I recognized it as Muggle music, and assumed that Dean was in charge of picking the songs.
