Her laughter, her silence, her mischief and her leaving; she was the best thing ever happened to him, but the life had different plans and they had to part for world didn't agree with them. The prejudice and honor of his family forced them to part their ways despite the love they shared.

Aaron left Lumanti's place with lots of thoughts in his mind, the conversations of entire day and evening reeling through his mind. The sky was clear now and the road was fairly empty. People must be staying indoors with their loved ones in this cold weather outside while he chose to take a longer route to avoid going to his empty house and the memories it hold. The tears were streaming down his face while he drove down the highway reminscing the kiss they just shared. The memories with her were flashing in front of his eyes.

When he finally reached home and parked his car inside the garage. He texted her,  Hey. I just reached home. Take care.

He put his phone inside his pocket and fumbled with the keys at the front door. He unlocked the door and entered inside his dark home. He didn't care enough to switch on the lights. He felt more close to the darkness as he lied down on his couch trying to listen to his own voice suppressed in the chaos of voices inside his mind. For once, like Lumanti said, he really wanted to listen to his own voice and fight for his choice of life.

As he immersed himself into his thoughts, fighting off all the voices, he end up asking himself, Does she deserve someone like me? She should be with someone far better than me.

He was sad, angry and mad now. He slammed into his bedroom door, jumped into his bed, got up, threw everything on his side table and kicked everything that came on his way. He went back to the kitchen cabinet and took out a bottle of scotch to numb the pain he had been having in his chest. He didn't even bother to pour it in the glass, he let the searing pain of alcohol pass through his throat and felt the burn but it still didn't help. The tears were starting to come out of his eyes now. He didn't stop. He screamed and cried out loud unable to withstand the pain of losing her one more time. He was frustrated at himself and angry at the circumstances that led him to this. He was holding his hair and sobbing when he heard a door unlocking from outside. He raised his eyes and saw his dad looking at him and his bloodshot eyes with aghast.

"Dad? What are you doing here?", he said with shock in his eyes and quickly wiped away his tears. When his dad switched on the light, the room was devastated with stuff lying all over the place, victim of Aaron's anger.

"Meekha and I wanted to surprise you but... What's wrong? Are you okay?", his dad asked full of concern.

"I am fine dad, its nothing." he slurred.

"What's wrong? Talk to me. What happened here? Did someone attack you?", his father tried to joke.

He remained silent, not knowing what to say, he looked for Meekha but she was nowhere to be seen, so he said, "You said, Meekha was here."

"Ya, she is coming, she forgot something in car so she just getting it. So what happened? Did you do all this?" he said looking at the condition of room. Aaron simply nodded.

Meekha entered into the hallway addressing the noise across the street, "Oh my god, those boys are howling, this neighborhood is never gonna change," and as she entered she noticed the condition of her brother and rushed towards him, "Oh my god, what happened?"

"This is about girl, isn't it?," his dad added rather harshly.

"Maybe," Aaron replied while Meekha stood in shock, not knowing what to do.

"You can't let a girl ruin you like this. You have got to be strong."

"She didn't ruin me. Instead she made me better and took it away."
