1993 Age: 4

"Y/N, this is Mrs Marshall. She's gonna be your preschool teacher." My mommy says. I hurt my face in her neck, the first scared to say hi.

"Darling, preschool is fun. You'll get to eat snacks, play games, and learn about a lot of cool stuff." Mrs Marshall says.

"Sweetheart, Mommy will be back to pick you up in no time, ok? Can you be Mommy's little tough girl and go in there?" She asks, stroking my hair. I nod, trying to be brave.

My mom kisses my goodbye and Mrs Marshall leads me into the classroom. "You can go play, honey." Mrs Marshall suggests. I go look around and find LEGO.

"M-May I play LEGO with you?" A cute boy asks shyly, coming up to me. I smile and nod.

"I-I love LEGO. Th-The Harry Potter set is one of my favourites." I say. He smiles.

"I have the same set at home!" He says.

"I'm Tyler. What's your name?" He asks.

"Y/N." I reply.

"I don't have any friends. Do you want to be my friend?" He asks. I grin and nod my head excitedly.

1999 Age: 10

"Come on, Y/N! I got a new Nintendo game!" Tyler says, pulling me along.

"I have to ask my mom and dad first to see if it's ok with them." I say. He nods and we walk home from school.

We go into my house. "Mom, Daddy, can I please go over to Tyler's? He got a new Nintendo game." I say. They usually let me go over to his house on Friday, due to us not having any homework.

"Sure, sweetie." My dad says.

"Be home by dinner." My mom says. I nod.

We head to Tyler's house. "You excited? It's a Mario game." He says. I nod.

"Mario is my favourite character, besides Princess Peach." I say.

"I like it too." He says, setting the game up on his TV.

"Get ready to lose, Y/L/N." He says.

"Nuh-uh. I'm going to win. You're the one who's gonna lose." I say, crossing my arms.

"Likely story." He says, not believing my gaming "skills".

2007 Age: 18

"Let's get out of this hellhole!" I exclaim excitedly as I toss my cap and gown into the back of my (favourite car/truck). Tyler laughs and does the same with his cap and gown.

We go to the lake where we go to if we need time together. We take off our nice clothes, revealing our swimsuits. We jump in, the cool water hitting us. We get used to it and start splashing each other like little kids.

"I have something to tell you." I say as I clear the water droplets that are sliding down my face.

"Which is?" He asks curiously.

"I got into Cincinnati University. I'll be attending the same college as you, Ty." I say.

He smiles widely. "Are you serious!?" He asks, hugging me tightly, then spinning me around. I giggle and nod. "That's fucking awesome!"

"I'm so excited." I say. He might even be more excited than I am.

2009 Age: 20

I run down the halls of the hospital, hunting for Tyler's room. I finally find it. "Y/N, honey, come on in." His mom says while holding the door open for me.

"Thanks, Mrs Scheid." I whisper with a slight smile. I go into his room and see Tyler laying in the hospital bed.

"Is he ok?" I ask with a couple tears threatening to fall from my eyes.

"He's doing just fine. Kidneys are as good as new." His mom says. I sigh in relief.

"Tyler, sweetheart, Y/N's here to see you." She says, running her fingers through his hair to wake him up. He slowly opens his eyes, revealing his amazingly beautiful, blue eyes. I smile.

I go over to his bed and grab his hand. "Hey, Tyler. How are you feeling?" I ask

"Fine, now that you're here." He says. I've always loved him, as cliche as it sounds. It feels like I'm in a cheesy love story, but it's true.

I smile. "I love you, Tyler." I say.

"I love you too, Y/N." He says.

"No... I love you. More than a friend. I love you so much, Tyler. My heart aches when I'm not with you. It's that kinda love." I say.

He stares at me. "I know I just ruined our friendship. I know. I'm sor-" He cuts me off by pulling me to him and kissing me.

"I've been waiting since middle school to do that."

2014 Age: 25

"Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N, ever since I met you at preschool 21 years ago, I knew that I wanted you to be a permanent part of my life." He says while getting down on one knee. I start crying a little.

"I had no friends and there you were. Playing LEGO. You and I were inseparable and I'd like to be like that forever. With you, my girl." He says, pulling out a black velvet box.

"So, Y/N, baby, will you make me the happiest person ever and marry me?" He asks.

"Yes, Tyler. Of course I will marry you!" I say. He picks me up and kisses me passionately.

"WHOOOOO!!!!!" Ethan and Mark cheer. We giggle. He slides the beautiful engagement ring onto my finger.

"Tyler, it's absolutely beautiful." I say.

2015 Age: 26

"I now pronounce you man and wife. Tyler, you may now kiss your bride." The preacher says. Tyler and I kiss. It isn't just a normal kiss. It's passionate. Sure, every kiss from Tyler is passionate, but this one is different.

We hold hands and the crowd cheers. "I love you, Mrs Scheid." He says. I smile.

"Finally, I'm a Scheid." I say. We run down the aisle.

"Ready for our honeymoon?" He whispers seductively in my ear. I giggle a d bite my lip.

"Hmm... I want cake first. Then, we'll talk." I say. He laughs and kisses me.

We get to the reception hall and our song plays. The first song we slow danced to as a couple. He kisses my forehead. As we dance together, I remember what we used to do when we were young. All of the memories. I can't wait to make more.
