Steve got a call from work, nothing new there except the look on his face during the call. It was one of anger and frustration I'm thinking. Once Steve was off the phone, he made sure all the animals were set for the night and the alarms were set.

He always had alarms in case of a fire, or someone was there that shouldn't have been. I'm definitely going to get those for my barns. "We need to get back to your house, Devon was spotted in town buying camping gear" he said as he took my hand, and we made it to his house so he could talk to his deputies.

We got back into my house and Steve locked the door, he went to where Eric and the others were sitting in the family room enjoying a movie, which I don't think they have been able to do in an awfully long time.

Since this was an old movie and they were reacting as if it was a new one out. It made me smile; I went to make some coffee. Nothing wrong with coffee anytime of the day or night, I've always said.

Steve and the rest of the guys walked in, "Sarah, we need to fit you with a tracker just in case something happens", Eric told me as Dirk brought over a box full of stuff.

"This will be where he won't see it will he if something goes very, very wrong?" I asked a bit nervous. I trusted these guys but at the same time if Devon was out of his mind, I really didn't want to provoke him if he did manage to get me.

"Nope, he won't be able to, it's small and we will remove and sew in a new button so it will not be noticeable, and nothing will be on your body so if he searches you, he won't find anything" Dirk said.

I went and got a few shirts that I could wear in this heat that had buttons on them, and I handed dirk about five shirts. "Perfect, thank you Sarah I appreciate this" he said as he took them.

Sitting in the kitchen by myself having my coffee, I turned on my music to have some normalcy to my life even if it was for a moment.

Sipping my coffee, suddenly, the big window seat shattered, I stood up and screamed, scared the hell out of me. All four guys came running into the kitchen, Steve went to my side and drew his gun making sure to keep me semi behind him.

Eric walked over and on the floor among the shattered glass was a note attached to a big ass rock.

"Sarah,

I see you have more guests in your home, I wonder who they are? But does it matter? To me it doesn't, for I see you, I always see you and I will be coming for my wife.

Love your soon to be husband

Devon"

Eric read it aloud. I stood there in shock, "why in the hell is this happening to me?" I asked on the verge of crying. Steve wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into him.

"It's okay sweetheart, all four of us are on high alert and we will make sure nothing, or no one gets near you" he said as he kissed the top of my head. I knew what Steve was saying was reassuring, but a little voice in my head wasn't so sure.

For the rest of the evening, I wasn't in the mood to cook, so the guys teamed up and made sandwiches, soups, and a big salad for all of us to share. I picked at my food which Eric said I should eat to keep my strength up.

I knew what he was saying, but it was starting to get to me, being a prisoner in my own home. Not how I planned anything remotely like this. This sucked and I was getting pissed at all of it.

"I'm running low on food, we need to do some grocery shopping tomorrow and I am not taking no, or you stay here bull crap, I am going and that's all there is to it" I said stabbing my salad.

Todd couldn't help it, but he busted out laughing, "that's the spirit and I think it would be good that we went out for a bit, since he's watching us and knows that we are here, why not enjoy the day" he said.

Everyone agreed it would be good to get out and the guys would rig an alarm system to their phones if anyone stepped in any direction within a hundred and less to the house.

That way we are bringing two cars, so if they needed to head out, two would go and the third would stay with me and Steve so I was protected all the way around.

After dinner, we all cleaned up and the music was playing, it was nice having everyone laughing and Eric started to dance around the kitchen to one of the songs.

After everything was done, we went into the family room to watch some comedy, Todd thought it would be a good ending to the night, to where we all could sit back and relax even for a little bit.

I snuggled on the couch with Steve, laughing throughout the movie I couldn't have agreed more, we all needed this break. I smiled watching the guys laugh and enjoy themselves.
