HIDDEN MEMORY PROLOGUE

Prologue

It feels like I'm playing an all out band concert of my life.

Increased heart rate.

Life flashes back into one song.

The lyrics were all composed into a continues and repeatedly phrase saying, I don't want to die.

Umiwas lang naman ako sa batang tatawid dapat. Then may truck pala akong kasalubong. And there, in just a blink of an eye everything flashes.

Leslie the woman I love laughing, smiling so sweetly at me as I chasing her. The taste of her lips, her skin and the softness. The heartbreak.

The first time I laid my eyes on her.

It was a very fast flashback. Pero alam ko lahat ng mga nangyari. I can remember them all. My childhood, my father, grandparents. Their sweet smiles at me.

And then there were blackness.

There's a light at the far end of that darkness. I tried to chase it and when I finally reached it I opened my eyes. Sobrang liwanag pinilit kong iadjust ang mga mata ko.

A woman's face looking down on me, still blurred in vision. I asked, "Where am I?"

Before anyone could answer. Itinanong ko pa ang mas mahalagang bagay, "Sino ako?"
