Two days had passed since Reena initially met everyone. Tequila removed her stitches the night before last and her cut was healing up very, very well according to him and Moonlight. So, on the third day of her being awake, she decided to go and further introduce herself without the bandages.

Reena saw Roadie about to head out and, already having her backpack on, walked to him and smiled. "Hey, Ro... uh..." She thought for a minute. "Roadie... right?" She said with crossed fingers.

Roadie nodded and laughed a bit. "I'm surprised you remembered."

Reena smiled widely at her success. "Where ya going?"

"I'm heading to a little stash someone has about 2 hours from here. It was small when I first found it so I'm hoping it's a little bigger now." He said as he checked his magazines.

"Oh... Uhm... Isn't anyone coming with you?" Reena said with a raised eyebrow.

"Mm... Nah... Don't usually do these things with a group..." He said with a shrug.

"I can come with you. My ankles fine now and my cut it nearly healed. From what Tequila said it looks like a cat scratch and not a actual wound that could reopen again." She said as she looked at him with worry.

"I... mean... Are you sure? I'm near positive I'll be fine on m-"

Reena cut him off. "Please? I know you don't know me that well but I don't want you to end up missing and be the last on to see you!"

Roadie laughed. "Alright, alright." He handed her a shotgun. "Stay close and be careful." He said as he opened the gate.

She smiled widely and pointed the gun away from him as she checked to make sure there was a shell in the chamber. Once she was sure that it was loaded, she put it on her back. "Understood!"

Roadie walked out and after she was out as well, he closed the gate and locked it back. "Just for precaution, grab onto my backpack and follow behind me. I don't wanna be the cause of you getting caught in another snare."

"R-Right..." Reena laughed a bit and did as she was told and followed him at his pace. Once they were clear of the snares, he looked back at her.

"Okay, you're good to let go now."

"Okay, thank you Roadie." Reena said as she released his bag.

After a 2 and a half hour walk, Roadie and Reena arrived at Roadie's mark. A decently sized car tent with a makeshift gate in front of it, Roadie wasted no time getting everything ready to bust the gate down.

"Stay back behind that big tree over there. It's far enough back and big enough to withstand the blast." Roadie advised her.

"Oka- Wait, blast? What blast?" She looked at him only now noticing the 3 timed grenades he had made. There was a timer, rubbery rope, and zip ties connecting the rubber rope to the pins on the grenades.

Roadie set the timer in the time it took Reena to ask that. "This blast." He said quickly before grabbing her wrist and dragging her behind the tree he pointed out.

Soon, there was a loud explosion that shook the ground. Debris slammed against the tree and just as fast as it exploded everything went silent. Reena laughed and looked at Roadie who ended up laughing with her but stopped as his eyes met with someone behind her, just a little ways away. She was going to turn around and see who it was but Roadie grabbed her, pulled her tightly into his chest, and put his back to the person.

Two load gun shots went off and Reena yelped into Roadie's chest. She covered her face, scared of the loud noises that were still foreign to her after just waking up a few days ago, and took deep breaths. Roadie let go of her and took his pistol out.

"Run." He said to Reena as he let her go and turned shooting back at the person.

Reena did just that and bolted into the car tent, past the tarps that covered the entrance. Roadie and the person had a shoot out as the sun went behind a cloud and made the little wooded area dark like a night sky lit by rays of moonlight. Reena saw Roadie heading towards her, a bullet wound in his shoulder and another in his side but he seemed fine.

She was about to leave to meet him, in fact she got her head past the tarps just in time to see Roadie get hit right in the head with a baseball bat. "Oh my god! Roadie!?" She screamed on instinct before getting a better look at the man responsible for possibly killing Roadie.

The man was easily a foot taller than her and was dressed in light military gear. He locked eyes with her and stupidly, she retreated back into the tent and attempted to hide but the man, laughing maniacally, found her and dragged her from behind her hiding spot into the middle of the tent by her hair.

She screamed out as if she was auditioning for a world renowned horror film as the man covered her mouth and straddled her. She tried to fight him but only scratched his face and that led to him grasping her neck tightly. So tight she couldn't breath or scream. She closed her eyes and when she opened the again, just as she was about to pass out, she saw Roadie laying there outside of the tent; beyond the tarp as the angry winds whipped the tarp. His head twitching as if he were trying to wake himself up.

For some reason, that gave Reena a second burst of energy, her last grasp at life, and Reena grabbed the man dick through his pants and squeezed as hard as she possibly could. The man let her go and grabbed her arms and while she gasped for air, Reena took this chance to pull one of his arms to her and bite hard into his wrist. She drew blood and the man toppled over but Reena took skin with her.

She sat up and spit the skin out and grabbed a gun, she wasted no more time to shoot the man several times and once that was over, she ran to Roadie.
