Tequila came out of the medical tent and looked at Reena. "You really did a damn number on him. His hat is ruined!" He snickered.
Reena grinned as Moonlight put a hand on Reena's shoulder. "I was going to say that the kill order was off but... I mean, frankly, I didn't think you could do it."
She crossed her arms. "Expect the unexpected. I act weak but I'm quite the opposite, especially when pissed off." She huffed, Moonlight rubbed her head messing up her hair in the process.
"I'm gonna go check out how we're doing on rations. Keep me updated, Tequila." Moonlight ordered as he walked off.
Reena looked over her shoulder at Moonlight as he walked away, Phil walking up beside Tequila. They both looked at each other as clouds full of thunder rolled in.
"Is he dead?" Phil asked in his thick French accent.
"No, just wounded. Reena did kill his friend though." Tequila said as he peeked back in the tent.
"Ah, damn. Well one for two isn't horrible." Phil chuckled as he gave Reena a hard slap on the back, nearly putting Reena on the ground from how sore she was. "Good job, Reena!"
"Hah, thanks!" She laughed a bit as the first drops of rain hit her shoulders, as it did, something about the atmosphere began to change.
As odd as it were, it seemed as though the clouds were an omen to her. In the coming days Reena would find out how true this omen was because as the rain began to pick up, with her only female friend in the group running behind her and hugging her, she hadn't known that Moonlight was in his tent contemplating their time in the group.
