Reena got to Roadie and turned him over, the gun shot wounds were bleeding worse than she had originally thought. She did her best to bandage him tightly and stop the bleeding but while she was in the midst of bandaging him, she heard footsteps behind her, before she could turn and point the gun at the owner of the footsteps, she felt a sharp pain in her left arm, right shoulder, and her left side.

Reena got up and shot down the man who had shot at her in a matter of minutes. Afterwards, she made a makeshift stretcher with the tarp over the tent and tied the ends of the tarp to her belt on the sides. With adrenaline and a busting headache, Reena trecked a normally 2 and a half hour walk back with a passed out Roadie which made it a 4 hour walk.

When she got there, her adrenaline had already faded and she caught the glimpse of Ronnie and Moonlight leaving the base. In a last ditch effort, through her pain and exhaustion, she shot her gun 5 times. Like she thought, Moonlight and Ronnie looked over and saw them. Both the men ran over as Reena fell to the ground but refused to pass out.

Ronnie radioed into the base and got Rambo to come out and help with Roadie while Moonlight turned Reena over, surprisingly she was still conscious.

"We hadn't known how long you two had been gone. What happened?" Moonlight said as he picked Reena up after bandaging her bullet wounds.

"A-Ambush..." She grunted through immense pain. "Is... Is Roadie gonna be okay?" She asked as she watched Ronnie and Rambo carry him in.

"Yes. Thanks to you, he's gonna be fine." Moonlight said with a grateful smile. His eyes smiling as well.

"On the way there... Roadie said it would only be a 2 and a half our trip there and back." She said as she whined in pain. "He fucking lied. That was like... easily 9 hours. It's nearly fucking night now." She laughed ending the laugh with a wince of pain.

Moonlight laughed at her and brought her to her tent, as he laid her on her bed, the radio popped on and she overhead a conversation between Ella, Mike, and Jodi.

"They like me better. She probably just stepped in that snare to get their attention." Ella said with a snicker.

"You know she didn't, Ella." Jodi  replied, none of them realizing the radio was on but Jodi sounded closest so it was probably his.

"I know, but how do you get severe head trauma fro—" Ella's voice was cut off by Moonlight turning her radio off.

"I'm just gonna take this with me so you can get some sleep. Is that okay?" Moonlight asked as he laid a blanket over her.

Reena, holding back tears despite knowing Ella was young, nodded. "Y... Yeah... Yeah that uh... Please do that..." She sniffed as she turned her head away from Moonlight.

Before he walked out, her looked back at Reena and smiled softly. "Thank you for saving my soldier today. I appreciate it."
