Annabeth's POV

"Mommy!" Miliya jumped on the bed and sat right beside me. "I'm boredddddddd."

"Me too, Miliya." I sighed. "There's just so much work to do."

Miliya made a face. "Why are you doing work?"

"Because I want to get paid."

"Oh. Well, you own the company, right?"

"Right."

"So you don't have to work." She did bring up a good point. "We can play now!" she suggested.

I smiled. "Why don't you ask Daddy?" I'm sure he isn't doing anything worthwhile.

"I did! He said to bother you instead," she replied.

What an idiot. "Ask him again, honey. Tell him Mommy said so."

"Okay!" Miliya jumped off of the bed and ran to the office.

I heard some squealing and laughing, meaning that Percy probably picked her up. I smiled at the thought of my husband and our daughter laughing together. He loved her so much.

"Incoming!" I was brought out of my thoughts by a deep voice. I turned my head to see my insane family running up to me. Percy was carrying Miliya on his shoulders and threw her on the bed beside me.

"Percy! Be careful! Miliya, honey, are you okay?" Even before seeing her face, I knew what it would look like.

A huge grin was plastered onto her face as she looked up and sat on me. "Yes."

Percy sat beside me, moving my laptop to the floor. "See, babe. She's fine."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Why don't you guys do something? I'm super busy right now."

"You don't look busy," Miliya pointed out. "You're cuddling with Daddy." My daughter got off of me and ran off to another corner of the house. Her ADHD was distracting her for now, but I knew she'd be back soon to ask us to play with her.

"She's got a point there, Annabeth. You look pretty cozy," my husband smirked. Our legs were already tangled up, and I felt my head lean on his firm shoulder.

"Shut up."

Percy laughed and combed his nimble fingers through my tangled hair. "Quarantine sucks."

"You think?"

"I mean, I love that I get to spend more time with you guys, but I really wanna leave the house for something other than groceries." I moved my face momentarily to see his. The face he made caused me to burst into laughter. He grinned and pinched my cheeks. "Something funny?"

"Just you." I snuggled into his chest and laid my hands on his legs.

"I love you, Annabeth Jackson," he murmured in my ear.

I laughed. "I love me too." I glanced at Percy's face for a moment, and he pushed me off of him.

"You're mean!" he mumbled, crossing his arms childishly.

"We've already established that," I pointed out, straddling him. "You love that about me."

"Yeah, I do." Percy nuzzled my nose with his own and grazed his fingers along the side of my face. "I really do."

My heart fluttered. "You know what would make quarantine more exciting?" I asked in a hushed tone, tracing his jawline with my lips.

Percy gulped. "What?"
