My heart hurts. My chest is on fire. Last time i felt this way, Tammy was in car accident. My heart hurts.

"Hey sis. Where you been all day?"
"Out ummm gimme a minute."
Alyce. Austin. Kim.
"Alyce where's Richard?"
"Dads upstairs. Are you okay?"
"Yea you look a lil off."
"Give me a minute Austin. Gotta call my mom. Aghh! "
Its getting worse.
"Mom. Mom hie. Are you okay?"
"Yeah baby I'm fine. Are you okay? "
"Its starting again. Wheres Tammy. Mom where is she?!"
"She's fine. She's here bugging me. Baby if its what i think it is. Breathe and check on everyone u have there."
"They are all here. Everybody is safe."
"Think."

"Think. Think. Austin. Alyce. Richard. Kim."
"Dude whats going on.?"
"Shhhh Austin. Shouldn't you be with- Austin where's Zoe?"
"Uhhh i dont know. She just said she'll be back."
"What do you mean you dont know where is she?  Call her!"
"Okay okay jeez calm down."
"Kai You are sweating bullets."
"I'm fine Alyce i just have a bad feeling. Last time i had it my best friend got hospitalized For weeks. Austin! "
"She's not picking up. I called multiple times."
"Address now!"
"She's probably fine. Sometimes she wants to be alo-"
"Give me her address or I'll shake it out of you."
So she's getting mad and she looks strong enough to do it.
Austin put his hands up and talked.
"Okay. Okay. 239 Rodman street. I'll take you."

"Drive faster."
"Okay. I am driving as fast as i can without breaking the speed limit. How do you feel now?"
She looked sick, between pale and dying.
"Like a fist is around my heart and squeezing tight as possible."
"Thats very descriptive. You sure its not a heart attack?"
"No its not. Hurry up Austin."
"okay, okay. Almost there. Right here." She was already out the car before he even put it in park. She worries too much like dad.
"Hello!! Zoe! Zoe!"
"Don't knock like you are gonna break the door down. She's not home."
"Dont You have a key? "
"Yeah i do. Here."
"Zoe! Which one is her room? Its a mess in here."
"In here. I dont know why you are - oh shit!! Zee!!"

I could feel the pain before i saw her. Her blood was all over. Her face might have caved in but it was just blood all over. Some parts of her clothes were torn.
Get her away from this!

Kai and Austin carried Zee to the car arguing about the hospital and not taking her there. Austin of cause  wanted her to be at the house. He ended up winning.

I can hear her. I can hear her. Keep breathing she says. She wants me to fight. I'm too tired. I'm too tired to keep fighting.
She called me baby.
Everything burns and hurts.
Can i tell her she's beautiful before my lights are extinguished for all eternity.
One girl who didn't lust after me like some sex object, seems fitting I'd die in her arms.
She smells nice, warm and safe. I know weird but her scent is all about that and a power that wasnt bought.
I'm too tired.
I feel so drained.
Kai is talking, what is she saying?

"Come on baby. Dont stop fighting. Just a little bit longer baby. You can do this. Austin hurry! "
"here. Here. I dont know what to do Kai."
"You dont want her to go to the hospital so buck up. We'll put her in my room. Get warm water, towels and first aid kit."

Being comatose is weird. I cant move a muscle but it feels like I'm on a cloud. Like I'm just floating. I can probably stay here if i want.
Peaceful, no screaming, no shouting and no pain. No pain. It would be better.
That feels good. It doesn't burn.

Kai kept wiping her down with the warm water and cleaning the wounds she found. The antiseptic stopped the bleeding.
Her nose was broken, setting it would hurt but it hadn't caved in, which was good.
Kicking Austin out had been a job but she didn't know their privacy boundaries so better safe than sorry. Alyce was losing her mind. Hospital sounded good to her too but somehow Austin was adamant that Zee wouldn't  want that.
She has to make it.
Half her face was bruised and blackish. There was  blood in her ear. Hope there's no internal bleeding i can't fix that.
Busted lip, swollen too.
Layer by layer stripped off her spoiled  and bloody clothes, her skin was marred by old and new bruises and cuts.
Some cuts on her thighs looked methodical. Like they were delivered in an orderly way.
One scar stood out, it crossed from her hip and disappeared into the lining of her underwear. It was prominent but old, the tone was almost silverish in a way.
Stop staring and fix her Kai.
Stitched where stitches were needed and bandages as well.
Her ribs felt cracked but not broken. She just has to fight to wake up. If she doesn't want to wake up she might not.
