This is a fanfic of a couple I like in mortal kombat. To be honest I began to write this about 10 months ago.

*Ok so this begins at the day after Jade explained her past to Kitana.*
As the two women laid in bed and Outworld was just starting to wake up, everyone had a strange feeling about today. Time passed and Jade woke up first, she looked at Kitana and smiled she remembered how caring she has been to her over the past month or so. Even though Jade had some things to do with Kitana today she didn't want to get up. 15 minutes later Kitana began to wake up and start to move more eventually she found Jade (yes Kitana is doing this all in her sleep) when she found her she put her right arm and both her legs and wrapped herself around jades torso. Jade silently giggled to herself and wrapped both arms around hips. (Y/N: WAIT HOLD UP ARE THEY DATING!
Me: no, sorry they are just growing closer towards each other and almost to that point) About an hour passed of both of them just cuddling until they heard a knock on the door. "Princess are you ok? Do you require us to come inside?" Kitana moved her head towards the door and sighed. "I'm fine" Kitana said in her best 'I'm awake' voice as she could. The guard walked away and Kitana turned towards Jade again. Jade had already been awake before Kitana because Jade was humming some melodies wail Kitana slept in her arms.
About an hour later
Jade and Kitana were walking on a trail together on one of the trails in the garden as always. Kitana stopped suddendly "Kitana are you ok?" kitana didn't respond to her and turned to face jade. "You know I've been thinking. We take this trail so often it's so common now. So I was thinking maybe by some power we could go out and well go to the town and see your adopted kids". Jade jumped up and down and hugged Kitana and Kitana hugged back. "Do you mean it do you really mean it!" "Well Jade you half to remember that you half to have the chain on or they won't let you come with me". Jade stopped and looked at Kitana "right I forgot. Well it's ok with me as long as I get to see everyone." "Ok I'll go ask for it you can stay here".
"Here jade." Kitana said handing the neck piece to Jade as Kitana snapped the back of the thing to lock it. "Does it feel tight?" "No, no it's fine thanks". As the two walked pass the gates everyone who was in sight of Kitana bowed in respect to her. Jade got closer to Kitana not feeling comfortable in the crowd of people who were surrounded them. As the two began to walk they came across Jades old work and walked inside. "Hello how may I help yo-..." "The man froze at the sight of both the princess and Jade. "BY THE GODS JADE!" He leaped over the counter and hugged Jade as did she to. "Oh my I thought I would never see you again! I though they killed you." "I'm ok, I'm ok the princess has been taking care of me for the time I've been there". The man looked at Kitana then bowed then stood again. "Well your kids should be coming back from school shortly". Jade looked at the street and saw a taller figure walking into the store. Jade froze and lost her breath, it was her ex it was kotal the man that had her put into a forced marriage with him a long time ago. The two made eye contact but Jade quickly looked at the floor and got closer to Kitana. Kitana noticed this and placed her arm around jades waistline. "Thank you for your time sir we will be leaving now." Kitana said wail looking at Jade. "Okay safe travels!" "Thank you". Kotal shot a look at Jade as she slightly started to put her head back up.
Walking to the school
"So you two know each other?" "Yes, he is my ex." "What?!" "Calm down *sigh* he forced me to date him and they forced me to marry him. Thankfully when the day came for him and me to get married thanks to my bridesmaids I was able to escape and me and him never seen each other since". Kitana looked at Jade and thought how a women with such a kind heart could have such a bad past. As the two continued to the school a group of kids that stood out stood in a group. Jades heart skipped a beat when she saw them all together. "Kids!" Jade yelled than kneeled down to there level to hug them. Kitana looked at them and smiled wail looking a jade softly crying along with some others.
