Chase

As soon as I walked through the door my eyes went straight to her. I know I shouldn’t be in here right now, but I my wolf and I had to make sure she was all right. Being in the room with her though its too hard I just want to walk over to her and hold her forever.

            What are you doing here?

I would recognize that voice anywhere. I quickly look over and see Trent just giving me a death glare.

I had to make sure she was all right.

You could have just asked me it’s too dangerous and considering she was just with you while you were a wolf. What if she would realize you and the wolf are the one and same being.

It wouldn’t matter. She is my mate.

WHAT!!! No wolf has ever had a human mate before and you know that.

No really Sherlock. Of course I know it’s never happened before, but for some reason she is my mate.

Something isn’t right then because God told us we were to never tell a human unless the saw us change no matter what. He also said we would only be destined with others of our kind.

            I KNOW!

I just glare at him; somehow he had been having a conversation with each other, as he was also able to introduce us to Bethany and the other girls. I stare at her as Trent now points to me and tells her my name.

She is finally looking at me and her beautiful brown eyes are looking straight into mine. The pull to be closer to her is almost unbearable and I have to shift my position so I don’t just run up to her and start kissing and hugging her.

“You aren’t related to wolves are you?” She asks.

My jaw drops. What no how can she know all ready?

            “Ww-what?” I stutter out.

A small smile appears on her face and she just laughs. “I’m just kidding your eyes are just very similar to the wolf the saved me last night. You don’t look like a wolf. Geez look at all your faces you guys look like your never heard of a joke.”

A nervous smile appears on my face.

See this is what I was talking about.

I nervously look over to Trent and see him frowning at his granddaughter.

“Yeah well sometimes we act like wolves.” I joke back.

For a second I was nervous, but then she laughs and it’s the best noise I have ever heard and all I want to do is make her laugh everyday.

“Most guys do act like a wild animal most of their lives.” I just laugh at her comment.

“So what happened all I heard was some campers got attacked. If you don’t mind me asking?”

“No I don’t mind it will save me time considering no one else knows really what happened last night.”

Everyone moves closer to her so they can hear her better.
