Jordan's Point Of View
Part Two.
When we made our arrival at school, I stared at the entrance of the school, where all the jocks, athletes and sluts gathered every morning to make fun of the average people. But mostly, I was wondering where Caleb was cause he wasn't there with them, not even realizing that Kyle had already gotten out and Jacob turned down the music.
"What?" he suddenly broke the silence and grabbed onto my knee with a hard squeeze, which was this way of getting me out of thought.
"No-nothing" I muttered and opened the door, "I'll see you after school" I added once I was out.
"Sure, just give me a call" those were his last words before he drove off, probably home. And when I finally grew a pair to walk past some seniors, I took the first step, which was a huge fail cause I tripped on the sidewalk, and just as I got ready for my face be crushed by the concrete path, I felt someone's arm around my waist and pulling me back up. I finally opened my eyes and saw him. Caleb Warden. His brown eyes was staring right through me and there was nothing I could do about.
"Hey" he smirked as he exposed his perfectly white teeth.
"Hey" I then loosened myself from, cause the space between us was literally closed. SHUT! TIGHTLY CLOSED!! "Thanks for not letting me crush my face" I stuttered, then frowned at my weirdness.
"You're welcome" he chuckled, and made his way away from me, "I can't allow you to damage that perfect face of yours" and like that, he left. The fact that he called my face perfect was still stuck in my head and made my heart explode, cause my crush, had given me a compliment. Then the bell rang.

As we sat in class, in silence, there was suddenly a knock on the door and when Mr Carter ordered the person to come in, the door opened and Caleb came inside. Everyone started cheering his name, meanwhile I just stared at him. When Mr Carter managed to quiet down the class, he wrote something down for Caleb to take to his teacher, and meanwhile, Caleb's eyes wondered through the class' faces, with his hands in his pockets. Finally he had found mine. And since I was so great at acting, I refuse to blush at his smirk and flirty stare, but stared right back at him, then rolled my eyes and continued with my assignment. I heard the way he scoffed in, to what I assumed, amusement, then Mr Carter gave him the note and he left. My best friend Morgan suddenly dashed to my desk and asked why Caleb was staring at me like that.
"I don't know" I shrugged proudly.
"Dude, what if your crush has a crush on you?" she asked
"That's ridiculous" I scoffed
"You wanna talk about him?" she asked.
And just when I wanted to answer her, Mr Carter yelled, "Will you two lovebirds shut up and finish your assignments?!" And instantly, we were both silent and busy with our work. It actually caught me by surprised, cause Morgan was never the type to shut up to anyone of any age. She always has something to say and has to have the last word in. Anyway, the bell rang and it was lunchtime.
I sat down at my lonely table, with only a water and an apple on my table, cause that's literally what I needed to stuff myself and I'll be full for days, and I was on my phone. Later I was joined by Morgan; Martha, which we call 'M'; and Jared. Another friend of mine, who has been trying to make a move on me for the longest time but I never allowed him to do so. Plus, I never even had my first kiss at the time.
"So, word around the school is: Caleb's back together with Maddie" announced Morgan once we are all sitting at the table.
"For the thousandth time this month" scoffed Jared in ridicule and slurped some of his smoothie.
"They'll never get married, or they will and be toxic" added M
"Guys, I don't think we should be talking about him like that" I mumbled, not trying to sound like I was taking Caleb's side. I was.
"Awe, you're so sweet" Morgan teased, "You're in love with someone who's already taken by the whore of the school"
"I'm not into him, I just think tha- if someone was talking such things about you, how'd you feel?" I pointed out, "Terrible right?"
They all stayed silent.
"Exactly, so let's just stop talking about them and focus on movie night at my house tonight" then they all cheered with their hands in the air, causing a few other students to stare at our table.

Later that day, I waited in the parking lot for Jacob to arrive and he was already ten minutes late and my boredom was sky high. While I waited, I put one if earplugs in and pulled a small bag of potato chips from my backpack and the second I opened it and ate one, another hand went inside and pulled out one chip. My eyes followed up the long, tanned and muscular arm and finally, I looked in his eyes.
"Hey you" Caleb smirked down at me.
"Hi C-Caleb" I awkwardly greeted him.
"Can I sit with you?" and before I could even answer him, he sat down next to me on the bench, "So, how are you?"
"I'm...fine...I guess" I shrugged with a scoff and a smirk, "And you?"
"I'm good" he simply said, "And your summ-" he paused in the middle of his sentence as we both saw Jacob's car parking in front of us, waiting for me to climb in. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow"
"Yeah"
...
"Is that him?" asked Jacob as I did my seatbelt.
"Who?"
"Your boyfriend?" he suddenly said.
"No, that's...an acquaintance" I muttered softy, when I noticed that Kyle was sitting in the backseat, wearing his headphones and busy on his phone. "Jacob, you promised to keep my sexuality a secret, and you just asked me about boyfriends meanwhile Kyle's in the backseat"
"He can't hear us, I tested him before you climbed in"
"Whatever"
