Jordan's Point Of View

Comfortable - H.E.R

"Dad, do you know where the Warden family lives?" I asked my dad, as I hunted the fridge for my lunch and a Redbull.

"Yeah, just about three or two miles from here" he answered. "Why?"

"Can you drop me off please?" I pleaded

"Where's Jacob?"

"He's out with some of his friends" and then with no further questions asked, he nodded in agreement and told me to get ready. Right after I ate, me, Kyle and my dad got in he car and drove off to Caleb. Even thinking about being alone with Caleb, close enough to touch each other, makes my heart race in my chest. Anyways, we finally arrived at Caleb's house and damn, that house was beautiful. Which wouldn't be a surprise cause that very same house once featured in a luxury homes TV shows. From the outside, I could tell that it consisted of five floors, maybe underground too. Everything about it looked so modern and clean.
When we stopped at the gate, a security guard walked up to my dad's side if the car and asked where we going and if the person knew that we're coming. And right on que, Caleb came out, ordering the guard to let us in. It was a little attractive to see him having all the power and ordering people around. Plus, he wore a sexy pair of grey sweatpants, a black tank top and white ankle socks with Nike slippers. His muscles shone in the bright sunlight, his soft hair was waving with the wind.

"It's fine Harris, he's here for me" Caleb said meanwhile I climbed out of the car and showed myself. After greeting my dad, I swung the door closed and walked up to him.

"Hey you" Caleb said as he opened the gate and waved at my dad. I expected my dad to leave after Caleb's greeting but he stayed to watch the scene and unknowingly making it more awkward for me.

"Hey, are you ready?" I asked after getting my backpack from the backseat, Caleb walked around to my dad's side and said "Mr Sighcaster, you don't have to drive all the way back here tonight, I'll bring him home safely" I then couldn't hear by dad's response to Caleb's promise, but right after, he left.

"Your house looks absolutely amazing" I scoffed as we strolled towards the entrance.

"Thank you, I shouldn't take the credit though, this was all my mom and dad" he said

"Well your parents have done a wonderful job" I complimented as we entered the house. I was introduced to the most luxurious home ever. The floors was a dark grey shiny color, meanwhile the furniture and walls was all whites, desktops were marble; my TV was just a quarter of their TV which was hanging on the wall in front of some comfy looking couches.

"You want something to drink?" he offered

"Not right now, thanks" I said, "Can we get started?"

"Sure"

A few hours later, we were both exhausted and tired from all the studying and very unknowingly, we were eating a lot of food. Junk food or fast food, if you will. But anyway, right around sunset, we both heard a car pulling into the parking lot and his family came inside. And after he told me that, we both headed downstairs and, "Hey mom and dad" he greeted then, and shut thereafter, another few people came inside.

"Guys, this is Jordan, a friend of mine" Caleb introduced us and I slightly waved, "He came over to tutor me"

"Nice to meet you Jordan" said Mrs Warden, Caleb's mom, with a friendly grin.

"Nice to meet you too" I smiled.

"Hi Jordan" said the lady, which wasn't his mother of course, "I'm Allison, Caleb's sister. That's my husband Pieter, and that's Caleb's other sister Maude"

"Hi" they greeted me and I greeted them back.

"Yeah, Alli, if you don't mind" Caleb jumped in, "I have to get him home. His father might murder me" And very surprisingly, he grabbed my wrist, slithered his hand down to mine and kinda held onto mine with a tight grip.

"Okay, well...drive safe" Alli said.

"I'm sure we will" Caleb ended the conversation and we headed to the door, meanwhile I greeted them once again and told Mr and Mrs Warden that they have a beautiful home and then we were outside.

"I'm so sorry that my family's so weird" Caleb blushed as we headed to his car.

"It's fine" I scoffed, "If you wanna know what's a weird family, you should come by at my house"

"I think I will" he said, and although I was only making a joke, I didn't want him to think that I didn't want him there by canceling his 'invitation'. The drive to my house was quiet and peaceful, not awkward or weird at all. Within a half hour, I was home safe...

"Hey!" Caleb called out as I headed to our door, and I almost instantly turned around to face him. "Thanks for tonight"

"You're welcome Caleb" I blushed.

"Tomorrow again?"

"Tomorrow indeed"
