Jordan's Point Of View
Sweetener - Ariana Grande
The next morning, I woke up feeling blissful and ready for the day. At the time, I was standing in front of the mirror, admiring my morning glow. I don't know why I felt like I was already in a relationship with Caleb, but something told me that that day, was going to be a good day. After adjusting the last few things to my appearance, I went downstairs for breakfast.
"Good morning" I greeted them with a jolly tone and sat down next to Kyle.
"Hey" they greeted me back.
"So, how was your date?" asked Cynthia.
"Great, thanks for asking" I smiled, trying to avoid my dad's glare. After that, she didn't bother to ask any further questions, but continued eating her breakfast, and so did the rest of us. Later, I was escorted to school by Jacob. When I climbed out of the car, half of the school was staring at me with wonder, I think. Their stares brought me uncomfortablity and thoughts that I looked a mess. Then, all of the sudden, a very familiar scent filled my nose and Caleb made his appearance next to me and greeted me with a "Hey you" like always.
"Hey Caleb" I blushed as I stared through his stylish Gucci spectacles into his golden brown eyes.
"How are you today?" he asked as he signaled me to walk with him to the entrance.
"I'm good" I shrugged.
"You look cute today" he suddenly complemented me, leaving me with extreme blushing and euphoria.
"Thanks, you don't look bad yourself" I chuckled and just before he could respond, Nathan came talking about the upcoming football game, which was two nights away, and the opposing team, and very sudden, Caleb brushed Nathan's hands off him and said, "Nate, I'm walking with JJ, so if you don't mind" but in a much offensive manner.
"Sure...m-man" Nathan's eyes dartted between us as he let go off Caleb, "Are you two together?"
"No" I quickly answered.
"Oh" then he left.
"Sorry 'bout that" Caleb said as he pulled his shirt straight and we entered the school, leaving everyone behind us speechless, and as always, Morgan decided on stealing me form Caleb and pushing me into a locker just to have a little conversation.
"Dude, are you two dating?" she asked, she was so close, I could literally feel her hot breath on my skin.
"N-" I said and before finish my one word answer, she showed me a picture from Caleb's Instagram profile, of aus at the basketball game. Nothing was weird about it, at all, not even the caption.
Yet still many more to come<3
That was the caption.
"Hey JJ, I have to go, I'll see you at lunch right?" Caleb interrupted us.
"Sure" I grinned and watched him walk away.
"He took you on a date last night, he walked with you, he asked you to have lunch with him" Morgan said as she started tying the knots and drawing lines, "Oh my God, your chances are open, just waiting for you to ask him to be yours"
"No, Morgan. Not yet" I scoffed and freed myself from her hold.
"Okay, you don't need to explain, I totally get it" she said as she followed me to my locker, "So, I guess tonight's your turn to take him in a date, right?" And instantly, I got an idea for a date. If our first one was so nice, why wouldn't the second one be? And just as perfect timing, my dad texted me that he and Cynthia had to be somewhere, and they were taking Kyle along so, it'll just be me and Jacob. Plus, there'll be s possibility of them not making it back in time, so they'd be staying at a hotel.
"I think I have an idea"
