Prologue

Chib's POV

A little fox's body lay in a cold, lifeless void.
It rested peacefully.
A nearby rumbling woke her up...

"..."

a void came out of the shadows.

"... dear jeebus what do you want from me this time?" Chib stretched her legs before stumbling to her paws.
"The gods request a sacrifice, Chibi..."
The little fox whipped her tail behind her.
"Finnneeeeeee, i'll go steal more babies for them, but i don't like it!"
"They want something... else." The shadow hissed. Chib blinked, a bit confused.
"But... eh?" She squinted at the shadow. She looked around. Nothing but a white floor and black sky for miles.

"They need people for this one. Live ones, not any dead carcasses that the other animals bring in for them." The shadow explained, following Chib's gaze into the distance.

"Neither the gods or my shadows can jump from world to world like you and your other friends. They've chosen you for this, Chib" The shadow looked down.

"do u fart"

"The gods want to see suffering." The shadow paused for a moment, then went on. "They have no people here, so they need to gain more somehow." It looked back at the little fox sitting near. "That's where you come in."

"I am about to give you a powerful magic, young one." The shadow tried to give Chib a pat on the head, but she flicked its hand away. "you will have power over a part of the DoomRoom, being able to change and shift the zone to your desire." The shadow held its head up proudly as Chib looked at it, awestruck.

"Really?!"

"Really." The shadow paused. "In return, you find people for the sacrifice. You must make them suffer." It noticed the uncertain look on the little fox in front of it. "This is for the DoomRoom leaders, Chib. Our saviors, who rescued this land from a dark time. They have done all in their power to help us, and it is high time we return the favor. Every little child in this world could only dream of having a fraction of the power you are about to hold. Do you accept?"

"booga"

"ffff- you know what, i'll just do it now. Make us proud, chib." The shadow walked away.

the fox let out a snort once the shadow had dissolved. "'make em proud' lol XD AS IF THAT'S GONNA HAPPEN!" She felt a tingle in her paws after saying that. Grinning, she stared at a spot on the floor and muttered "Tree. I summon a Tree! I never saw one of those."

Immediately, a large pine tree grew, with a small squirrel climbing down from it.

"omg look at the bird," Chib stared at the squirrel. She sighed. "Guess i should do my job now?" She blew a raspberry, which was the secret gesture for making a multi-dimensional portal appear. She prepared to jump inside and go fetch some unlucky potato heads one by one, like she usually did, but then had an idea. "Hang on..." Chib stared at another spot on the ground.

"I summon a sneaky robot who will sneak into every world, stealing enough people to satisfy the big dudes!"

As soon as that sentence finished, a robot rose from the ground and hopped into the portal.
