Takas pov
I stood in towa city with my close friend Leon. Kokichi and komaru have been here for two months and mokoto was getting worried so he sent us down here to help them out.
"this place sure is a ghost town" Leon muttered.
I nodded. He was right the place was completely empty. The only trace of life was the blood stains on the road.
"it's awful what happened here" I sighed.
"yeah I just hope kanons ok" he said.
I sighed "Leon I know your worried about your cousin I'm also worried about my dad but we have to keep our head in the game. We can't let this mindless slaughter go on any longer!"
"your right thanks bro" he grinned.
The way he said bro reminded me of mondo. My heart hurt for a second.
"are you ok taka? Your crying!" I touched my cheek and sure enough I was crying.
"sorry about that. I guess I just really miss mondo is all"
Leon's eyes widened "oh shit man I'm so sorry I didn't mean to remind you of him" he looked to the floor guiltily.
"it's ok Leon you didn't do it on purpose" I said reassuringly.
"ok well if it makes you feel better I think mondo would be proud of how far you come"
I pulled him into a hug "thanks Leon your a good friend"
He hugged me back "no problem pal now let's get back to work"
