Hiccstrid One Shots

Modern one shot set in Times Square New York!

Hiccup and Astrid were walking around New York, hand in hand, wrapped up warm. Astrid was wearing a pale blue coat with a fluffy white hood and Hiccup was wearing a black leather jacket with a red fluffy collar.
They walked through times Square and Astrid got excited, " babe let's go ice skating!" Hiccup have Astrid a nervous grin, "I'm out of money ... shame!" Astrid reached into Hiccup's pocket and pulled out a £50 note, she gave him a sly look and her eyes turned to slits, smirking, she grabbed his hands and dragged him towards the Skate rent hut.
5 minutes later Astrid and Hiccup were on the ice. Astrid twirled in the centre by the humongous Christmas tree. Hiccup just stood holding onto the side watching her. "Babe come here!" Astrid shouted over to him, "you can't skate or something?!" Hiccup rolled his eyes obviously, "of course I can skate!" He pushed away from the side and instantly fell over, Astrid burst out laughing. She skated over to help him up but he refused help, every time he tried to get back up he just fell over again making Astrid laugh even harder.
Hiccup finally gave in and asked Astrid to help him up.
"Okay fine I can't skate! In fact I have never skated before! Because my parents divorced when I was 3, my dad never did Christmasy things with me!" he said through laughs. Astrid hugged up tightly and then rested her cold hand on his warm cheeks and kissed him. click. They parted and saw the rink photographer take photos of them. "Would you like these printed?" she said. Hiccup smiled, "Yeah sure, please, that would be great, we'll come collect them later on."
They finished their skate with Hiccup gripping onto Astrid's hand to stay up. They then changed back into their shoes and collected the photo of them on the ice.

***** 2 hours later ********************

Back at home they framed their photo and put it on the wall where every body could see it. They sat on their sofa cuddling under a blanket together looking into the fireplace replaying the moment Hiccup fell on the ice in their heads.
"Merry Christmas babe, I love you!"
"Merry Christmas mi'lady, I love you too!"
And they fell asleep together on the sofa holding hands staring at their christmas tree.
