The winner's lady: A ThawFest Proposal Pt. 1

This is not a modern one finally an original idea!

It was that time of the year once again where the annual viking competition of the year takes place followed by The ball to celebrate the winners victory.
This competition was called Thawfest. It is traditionally known that all Male Vikings of Berke take part in this competition if they are 16 winters or older.
Hiccup, Fishlegs, Tuffnut, Snotlout and Eret would all compete in this competition to win and it has always been very competitive every year.
It was also known that whoever won got to invite one special lady to stand by his side at the ball.
Hiccup really needed to win this year because he was planning to propose to Astrid at the ball. They had had the conversation millions of times about who Hiccup was to invite to the ball with him if he won, of course everytime Astrid asked, Hiccup had said, "Mi'lady you need to stop worrying, it's always going to be you, nobody else, just you!" he would say holding her hands in his.
Hiccup was worrying that with the pressure on this year he would lose and the engagement plan would fail.

Everyone was bustling around setting up the dragon academy arena ready for Thawfest. All of the men were pottering around their dragons preparing them for the challenges and races of the day.
Astrid ran up to Hiccup and hugged him tightly, "good luck my knight in dragon armour, you can do this, do it for me, because me, your girlfriend wants to go to that ball as the winner's lady!" she said excitedly jumping around on the spot.
Bucket had announced that the first round would begin soon, so Hiccup added his last adjustments to Toothless' saddle and shooed his girlfriend into the stands to sit by Stoick, his father.
The first round was based on their stealth, they had to sneak up on five terrible terrors and take the tags off them that were to be attached to their tails.
Many of the men were sent out of the first round due to singed fingers and hair, these men had clearly been attacked by the dragons, not stealthy enough.
Hiccup took a long deep breath out when he heard his name called to let him know he was to continue the challenges.
Next, the second round was based on their communication skills with their dragons, the judges were to rate them on their best trick performed via communication.
Hiccup did many loopty-loops and then did a front flip off of Toothless diving through the sky until Toothless caught him. (An example of this is in the video above the title but it didn't go wrong.)
Hiccup moved on to yet another round of the competition. The dragons weren't involved in the third round, it was a series of obstacles to be completed by themselves with no help from a dragon. To be exact the dragons had to watch on the side, if their dragon loses self control and comes to help them, they are out! It was kind of aweird, but about 40 to 50 men were talking to their dragons for the next 5 minutes.
Hiccup fell a few times in this round and having the most over protective dragon, Toothless really struggled not to move.
Of course Toothless didn't move from his perch and in that round they came in first place, leaving just Snotlout, Fishlegs, Tuffnut and Eret up against him.
The time had come to find out who would win the very last round of Thawfest. The last round was to be a unique trick performed by their dragons based on the dragon's skills.

Hiccup and Toothless pulled off the trick above flawlessly and they won! Hiccup celebrated wildly and couldn't wait to propose to the love of his life at the ball that night.
