"Tape"

Seungmin sighs, impatiently tapping the wooden table as the liquid inside his cup dances a little bit thanks to the movement. He's been sleeping poorly the past few days and not just because of his internship and few projects of school left but because of Hyunjin too, his boyfriend has been quite depressed since his mother came by and doesn't want to talk about it much, though Chan has been of great help for him as well as Gyu's visits.

"You're gonna spill your coffee if you keep tapping on the table like looking for gold"

The doctor looks up, meeting Felix's worried eyes, "Sorry, I'm just quite anxious"

"I can tell" he slides a plate full of small croissants "Cheese, jam, butter, even sweet ones" a small smile draws his face "Go on. It's gonna calm your nerves a little bit"

Seungmin chuckles, "Thanks, Felix"

"Food bright the belly and the heart" he giggles.

"You tell that to your son, don't you?"

"Yes" Felix giggles again taking one croissant, "Always works when he doesn't want to eat certain veggies"

"That's cheating"

They both turn to find Jeongin coming up to them with his nurse uniform in hand and a big smile painted on his face. He quickly takes a sit next to Felix and steals one of the croissants.

"Well hello" Felix giggles patting the younger's head "You're late"

"I was with Channie" Jeongin blushes "He wanted to come, but one of his patients needed him"

"Oh! The Aussie hyung! He's cuteeee!" Felix sips his coffee.

"Hey, hey! Back off!" Jeongin playfully hits the blond's arm, "That's my man! I tried for more than a year, so don't you dare, or I'll leave your son orphan"

"Damn" Felix chuckles, "Savage baby. I like it"

Seungmin rolls his eyes, "Have you heard anything?"

"Yeah, they got all the tapes" Jeongin nods, "That's the only thing Seokjinnie hyung told me. He said it was a long process due to the owner of the building not wanting to be sued or something"

"What were you doing there that day anyway?" Felix questions, taking another croissant.

"My eldest nephew has singing classes there, I was dropping him off for Joon hyung when I heard Hyunjin" the youngest frowns a little bit remembering what happened that day.

"And your in-law is a police officer?"

"He's a sergeant" the boy explains playing with the mug in his hands "I called him after I called the ambulance, so he's been trying to help"

Seungmin sighs looking down at his coffee, "Hyunjin deserves answers"

"He'll get them" Felix reaches for the younger's hand and gives it a soft squeeze, "Don't worry, okay?"
