Reborn as a Stranger

Chapter 2

           Friends should be like books...
        easy to find when you need them,
                    but seldom used.

      Zhan looked at him indicating he can continue. So he continued.  

    "Zhan, you know  you are not just a friend to me but a best among my friends. I see a little brother in you....I liked you the first time i saw you....I know we're meant to be friends... "

      'Why he is talking like he is going gonna go away? ' Zhan thought and listened carefully.

       "Ummm.... Zhan zhan, can you promise me something? " Seojoon asked and waited for an answer.

        'Oh oh... This is getting really weird... What happened to him? He is always straight forward. Then why now he is talking like he is drawing a maze? ' Zhan thought.

       "If it's something i can do i'll promise"

       "It's not something big Zhan... You can definitely do that. Please just promise me that you won't get angry at me" Seojoon was looking a little miserable.

       'He is acting weird.... I know he never mean any harm to me....' "Ok i promise, i won't get angry. Now tell me what's in your army head"

        "I'm going back to Korea. My Dad called me yesterday and told me to be there as soon as possible." Seojoon said and lowered his head.

        "Whaaat???!!!! Why didn't you tell me that earlier? How can you just go back in the middle of academic year? What about your studies? What about your friends? You said you see me as your brother, so what about me?" Zhan bombarded him with questions after questions.

        He know how many questions he asked there's going to be only one  answer. Seojoon need to go to his home country. That means they won't see each other. He do liked him and saw him as a big brother. His caring nature made Zhan to depend on him sometimes. He became his best friend within a small time. Therefore knowing he has to go back was a shock to Zhan. Nonetheless he can't do anything about it. He calmed down himself and asked

       " When are you going? "

        "The flight is at 2.30pm...I want to tell you about this first. And i couldn't bring myself to let you go alone to a place like this. I know you have a lot of friends and they'll always be there for you... To be honest I'm relived that you are like this... A gentle and friendly being... You never provoke others... But be careful brother... The world is not what it seems to be. You have to take care and protect yourself.... If again i get a chance to come back i'll make sure to grab that opportunity and will visit you.... Study hard, and do what you like... I think i forgot what i have to say...~ Ha ha~" He gave out a nervous chuckle. 

     " You too take care of yourself hyung. I don't know why you have to go now. You never told me anything about yourself and never asked you about it too. All i know is that you are from Korea... So come visit us when you can... ~We're gonna miss you hyung~" Zhan said and felt like he wanted to cry. Being an only child, he never thought having someone older or younger than you is great. But Seojoon showed him how good he is as a brother and friend. Now he have to go back to his single-child life.

     "I'll Zhan zhan. Now come on... I have to meet others and tell them too.... Gimme a hug kiddo" He said and chuckled seeing Zhan's cute angry face for calling him kid. Zhan hugged him tight and cried... After calming down, they went to their friends and told them too. Everyone were reluctant to let him go. At last they wished him a happy journey with a promise to visit them in the future.
