LEO'S POV:
I had to follow the police to the station, all the way I had one thought on my mind I wanted justice and I wanted it right now and if it wasn't served I will take Justice into my own hands and kill that bastard in a way no one had ever deemed possible.

On getting to the station I gave my statement and was told I was free to go but that wasn't what I wanted, he wanted to hear that, that fool was going to be jailed for life Goddamnit!!

Just as I was about leaving an officer beckoned on me
"Mr Jason Scott a detective," he said handing me his card
"Do well to reach out to me if you ever have any questions or information. I will be the one working on this case and I very much assure you Mr Fenson that Justice would be served" he said with finality and certainty in his voice

I muttered a silent 'mmm took his card and walked away.

My thoughts were racing as I paced up and down the room, I leaned on the wall with my arm...

How long has this gone on for? Was mother aware... Shit!! Maybe she was cause now I fix two and two together no one told him about her being here and no one else knew except I and Ruby and Mum hasn't been here so she didn't know... Or did she? She wouldn't or would she?

"Ruby.."

"Yeah" she answered

"Did you tell Mum about Peach"

"Yeah... She said to keep her updated, but I don't know why she hasn't come yet" she said her voice dropping a few octaves

"Damn it! God. Fucking. Damn. It!!" I hissed as I punched the wall severally

Ruby had to run to my side and struggled to stop me I eventually did stop but the emotions were too much I don't know how much longer I can be a man to bear it

In less than seconds I crouched to the ground in her arms my whole body shook as I cried Ruby just held on to me, it's been years since I last had this kind of breakdown

"She'll be fine, she's strong," Ruby said as though convincing herself not me

"He'd pay for it, trust me, the hospital will take necessary actions against all they need is evidence and witness which we all have to remember... She needs us to be strong for her, if she sees you like this imagine how she'd feel" she continued I followed her line of sight to Peach who lay calmly

I slowly calmed she was right Peaches needs us to be strong for her

" Let's just hope the test results are enough evidence," she said with a sigh

Damn it, it wouldn't be enough, he was a rich man maybe even a millionaire if not a billionaire I needed more... As I craned my neck to sit up I saw a camera... What if the other room had?

Even without rethinking, I bolted out of the room

There it was a camera, before he buys the people in the operating room I better get there first

So I discussed this with my doctor who agreed to do all he can to help which he did, he got me a copy of the video, and he also kept one for himself as well as test results they ran on her showing that she was raped by him and some semen a shiit I dunno but he said it'll come in handy

I decided to call the cop just as I got into the hospital room

Ring... Ring...

Put it on speaker Ruby said

Ring... Ring .... beep!

"Hello Mr Riverdale speaking"

"It's Leo Fenson"

"O Mr Fenson, thank goodness you called I was__ uh_ I was gonna you know umm come over there too" he started nervously

"Is anything the matter sire?

"No, it's just (*clears throat*) I intend on seeing you hopefully tomorrow you _ehh know umm they've been updated uh ummm (clears throat) on your sisters' case," he says hesitantly

"O ok sir, I'd be there by the morning"

"That's fine by me, so I'm guessing you called for a reason"

"Oh yes yes I did!... I've been opportune to get my hands on video footage of what exactly happened in the hospital today and I'm sure we might need it for evidence purposes when he faces the court... Lest I forget sire do I get assigned a lawyer or.." I stopped speaking I was rambling

An awkward silence lingered before he spoke

"I'm sorry Mr Fenson but there just might be no court hearing" he said his voice sounding distant from the phone that I wouldn't have picked on it not for my phone being on speaker so Ruby could hear too

"Whatever do you mean"This time Ruby spoke

"Please do come over to the station sire" he said quietly as though trying not to anger us

I hung up just before Ruby could rant anymore balderdash

Grrrrrh I groaned as I hit a space in the glass on the wall which gave in, despite the injury on my fist I kept on hitting and hitting till Ruby pulled me on, I didn't budge until I heard a still voice say

"Leo..." Peaches croaked

They both froze

"Ruby" she pressed for a reply as she struggled to pry her eyes open

They rushed to her side while Leo hid his bleeding fist out of her sight

"Hey peach we're right here" Ruby spoke when she noticed Leo wouldn't say anything, not that he didn't want to but he just didn't trust his voice

"Where's Leo? I want to see him" she pressed

He walked in her line of sight with a glass of water, they helped her into a sitting position as she gulped three glasses down

Just as he was about to drop the glass she grabbed his hand
Running her fingers over the torn knuckles she lifted her gaze to his face and smiled a sad smile

"I heard" was all it took to break their resolve

"Nobody cares about us ya know... Justice is a myth"

"Peach__ " Leo started

"I want your consent for something" she said casting her gaze down, it wasn't a good sign

"Whatever" Ruby added immediately regretting her answer

"Euthanasia," she said barely over a whisper

The air around them froze, Ruby felt like ice water had dripped down her spine
Leo just stiffened beside her...
