PROLOGUE

"Hello? This is Arnold. What may I help you Sir?"

"I'm Aeon Diem Reign. Preston Reign son. Is my father there? I need to tell him something"

"May meeting pa po siya sa client niya Sir"

"Kindly tell him that I want to talk to him"

"Copy Sir. Sasabihin ko nalang sa kanya pagka labas niya sa opisina"

"Okay. Thanks"

"Sige Sir ingat. . ."

Then I hang up

I took a deep breath. It's been 2 years since I last visited here at the house. At last, home sweet home.

"Sir bababa ka ba?"

I looked at the taxi driver and then smiled.

"Can you please take me to the nearest Park?. I'll pay you later"

"Sige Sir! Just wait in that okay? I'm going to drive you go to the park. Hehehe"

I shook my head and then laughed softly.

"Okay. Marunong naman ako mag tagalog, wag mo nang pahirapan ang sarili mo"

I took my suitcase and got out of the taxi. When the taxi left I started walking around. Everything is familiar in this place pero di ko matandaan.

My eyes landed on a girl. She help the old man cross the street. How nice of her. Napahinto ako para makita ng maayos ang mukha niya. Pamiliar siya. When she smiled at the old man my chest felt like it was speeding up. Parang gusto niyang makawala sa dibdib ko.

Is this called love at first sight?

It's 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Ang dami na naming napuntahan na schools pero ni isa ay wala akong nagustuhan.

I've been wondering kung saan yung babae nag aaral. I want to see her, again. But destiny surprised me, I saw her again. She's wearing a uniform, she's with a girl. I don't know her name and address.

My heart is speeding up again the moment she smiles. Her smile stock in my mind, paulit ulit iyong nag papakita.

Days became week.....

I went to the same school she was currently studying at. I'm surprised when I found out that we're at the same grade and section. She's friendly kaya naging magkaibigan kami. Kada araw ay palagi akong masaya nang makita siya.

Days became weeks and weeks became months...

I found out that she's been helping the other students struggling with the bullies, that's the day when I confirmed that I've been falling in love with her. Not in the looks she have, but in her good heart.

I've been with her everytime. I have always been jealous of men who are always with her. I've helped her study, I've helped her do the task she can't do.

But most of the time she helped me. She's been there when I was sad, angry and even in my happy moments.

She's the exclamation mark in the happiest sentence that I could ever possibly right. She's the oxygen of my happiness.

Days became weeks, weeks became months and months bacame year...

Little by little I made her feel that I love her. I've courted her. Araw araw ko siyang nililigawan at hindi ako sumuko. I know this sounds insane but this is my choice. I've take what it takes.

Araw araw kaming nagsasama kaya mas lalo ko pa siyang nakilala. She has a bubbly personality. And I love it.

It's been a year and a half when I heard the word that I've been waiting for.

I was happy when she answered me. We became lovers. I loved her even more.

She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful, for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for that sparkle in her eyes when she talk something about she loved. She was beautiful deep down her soul.

I love her. Her name is Chervel Hernane.
