Breakfast And Dates

Cole woke with Kai in his arms. For a second he had no idea what had happened, but then the memories of yesterday came back. Love bug right.

Cole shrugs and Kai started waking up in his arms. "Morning handsome," Kai murmurs. "Your not so bad yourself," Cole flirts back making Kai giggle. Kai got up, but Cole still wanted to just lay in bed. "I'm gonna go make you breakfast," Kai chirps unusually peppy for a morning. "Okay don't burn anything," Cole said and Kai laughs leaving to the kitchen.

Cole liked lazy mornings and just stayed snuggled though did miss his human heater to cuddle. Around half a hour Cole was shaken and he wakes up seeing Kai there with a tray that contained a plate of bacon, eggs with pepper, and orange juice along with a chocolate chip muffin. Cole blinks in surprise and pinched himself to see if he was dreaming. How the heck did Kai make all of that so quickly and perfectly? Wasn't Zane supposed to be the chef?

"Hey sleepy head I made breakfast just the way you like it," Kai said and Cole sat up in bed as Kai placed the tray in Cole's lap with a smile. Cole was just wide eyed as he looked from Kai to the food. It was too good to be heated up in the microwave and the muffin was warm with the chocolate chips still a little melted. When Cole still did not eat it Kai got worried. "What? I can make something else if you don't want it," Kai said. Cole shook his head. "No no this is amazing it's just how did you make all this so fast? Nya said you couldn't cook," Cole said. "I actually can she was just too picky to eat it," Kai said shyly. Cole was shocked, but did not waist the chance to eat the food.

"Mmm this is better than Zane's," Cole said as Kai beamed proudly. "You want any?" Cole asks holding up what was left of the bacon and eggs. Kai nodded and ate his share. Once done with that Cole kisses Kai's cheek. "Thanks you didn't have to do that," Cole said. "But I love you and I like you happy," Kai said and Cole smiles softly. "I like you happy too," Cole said. Kai blushes a little, but a moment later there was a loud banging on the door and Nya opened the door in her pjs and glares at the sight of Kai holding a plate of empty food while Cole still had some chocolate chip on the side of his face.

Cole is immediately scared and got up from his bed. Nya wrapped a water tendril around him and pinned him to the wall. "Nya! Put him down now!" Kai yelled at his younger sister who did not listen to him. "I am not going to let you use my brother like this, bug bite or not," She growls as Cole was truly afraid he was about to die. Suddenly Nya was kicked to the ground loosing her connection to her water. Cole hit the ground and Kai was right to him checking him over and making sure he was okay. "You okay baby?" Kai asks checking over him. Cole nodded then looked at Nya who was getting up from the ground and was clenching her fists.

"Enjoy it while it lasts because the second the cure is ready he's going to go back to caring less about you," Nya spat at him smugly then growls. "I find you taking advantage of him and you will not live till the cure is ready," Nya promises than left. Cole blinks back tears, but Kai distracted him with butterfly kisses. "It's okay love I will protect you from her," Kai said kissing him softly. Cole just squeezes his hand. "Say you love me," Cole pleads. "I love you," Kai said trying to make Cole feel better. The black ninja pulls Kai close to him. "Please I need you," Cole whispers.

Kai does not understand what is wrong with Cole, but quickly hugs him whispering how much he loves him.

Later

Nya was taking her anger out on the training bots.  The others were too scared to go and talk to her while Kai was basically all over Cole and the black ninja loved it.

"Cole you need to stop before Nya kills you," Jay advices Cole as he watch's Kai training on his own. "Why should I?" Cole asks with a loving sigh at Kai's form who winked at him flirty. "Your just going to hurt yourself more when we give him the cure," Jay said and Cole sighed. "It's better than nothing," Cole answers as Kai finishes training and sat next to Cole wrapping his arms around the raven haired boy's neck. "Cole can I have a kiss?" Kai asks with a pouty playful face that Cole melts at. "Of course my pretty ruby," Cole said wrapping his arms around Kai's waist and kissing him. Kai giggles during the kiss making Cole smile as Kai was a amazing kisser and it felt just so real and full of love.

It was then suddenly ripped from him in the form of Nya who had her brother wrapped in a water tendril. As he tried getting back to Cole and making out. "Nya we were busy," Cole said. "My brother not your toy," Nya said than dragged Kai away from Cole as he tried making grabby hands in the norites direction.

Cole pouts upset Nya was ruining all the enjoyment. It's not like he was using Kai or leading him on. He did love Kai genuinely and if he wanted he could have Kai screaming his name as he pounded him into the sheets. Cole smiles at that mental image licking his lips.

Suddenly there's a female screech and everyone ran to the source which was a sight to behold. Nya had screamed at Kai who was trying to lock her in the closet. He also succeeded before anyone could stop him then melted the lock.

"Kai! Let me out of here!" Nya screams at him while Kai just walked over and kisses Cole on the cheek. "I'm gonna make you dinner K? Love," Kai said than kisses him again and left. Cole watches after him smiling. "Are we gonna let Nya out?" Jay asks. "After dinner," Cole said and goes after Kai.

Next day

The next day Cole left a note he was taking Kai out for the day. He was excited and thrilled as he took Kai out holding his hand. "Where are we going love?" Kai asks with curiosity Cole just loved. "You will see," He said. "Cole, love, you know I hate surprises," Kai whined impatient. Cole chuckles and kisses the top of his head. "You will like it now come on firebird," Cole said taking Kai somewhere he knew he would like. They got their and Kai's eyes widened in surprise and he smiles. "Aww Cole I love you," Kai said wrapping his arms around Cole and giving him a kiss on the cheek. Cole took Kai to his favourite escape room place. No one usually liked going with him because he got angry and frustrated during the last half hour.

Anyway they went in and did it. It was ninja themed off them so it was pretty fun because it was basically a memory game. "Hmm okay we just need to find the scythe of quakes," Cole said as Kai looked around the room for a secret hatch or something. "Well we found the original in the cave of despair and it was kind of it Rocky's mouth so," Kai looked at the floor where a picture of Rocky was. He opened a hidden hatch and found a block that had a computer chip in it and a picture of the sycth. Kai's eyes lit up and Cole smiles lovestruck seeing it. "And here," Kai placed the fake sycth in the last place and they won the challenge and went to the next room.

Ten minutes left

"Come on Cole what was princess Vania's dragon called?" Kai asks Cole since Kai never really saw the dragon himself. Cole had to type in the answer and they would win the escape room. "Ummmm chimpy?" Cole typed that in and got it wrong. "Come on Cole," Kai whines looking at the clock. "Okay ummm? Choppy?" Cole typed that in getting it wrong. "Okay it was uhhhhh Chompy!" Cole remembers and typed it in. They won the escape room and Kai was thrilled. "Yes!" Kai and Cole cheered.

They left the room and got given a prize by the clerk which was a ultra dragon plushie. Cole tried convincing Kai to take it, but Kai insisted he keeps it. "You keep it you took me here and I had so much fun! I love you so much and you should keep it. Besides I already have a cute care bear to cuddle," Kai said cuddling into the black ninja's side. Cole was blushing to hard to argue and just accepted it as they headed back to the bounty. When they got back Nya was screeching at Zane to let her hack into the city's security cameras and find the pair who just walked inside.

"Hi Nya," Kai said. "Where were you?" Nya asks the question directed at Cole. "We went to a escape room and won," Cole said proudly. "Why?" Nya asks. "Because we are smart," Kai stuck his tongue out at her childishly. "No not that why did you take him out?" Nya asks. "It was a date," Cole said and Nya's nostrils flared. "You little," Nya began before Jay grabs her. "Run before she kills you," he said and Cole did just that leaving with Kai.

Kai yawns tired. "Cute," Cole said lovingly. "Love wou mmm bed," Kai mumbles and Cole chuckled picking him up and taking him to bed. They got in their pjs and into bed. Cole smiled watching Kai twiddle with the loose string on his shirt. Cole kissed him good night and turned off the lights.
