7 The bed

Ymir's POV-

"Yo"

"Ymir"

"Earth to Ymir"

"Hello?"

"Can you hear me?"

I came back to reality after being spaced out, staring at an empty wall.

Sasha, Mikasa and Krista all looked at me with concerned eyes.

"Yea sorry, I was spaced out for a while, let's continue on the project though", I say trying my focus my eyesight from starring at the wall too long.

One hour earlier

"Ymir, I am not suspending you, only because you helped another student get away from him, who the real bully is here", the principal said pointing to Reiner.

"Reiner, the school will be taking extreme measures on you in affect of what you did", she continued.

"Yes mam", Reiner said annoyed.

"Ok Ymir you are free to go, Reiner you're staying here with me."

I left the office without a word and went to my locker to grab my things so I could leave. It was the end of the day, finally.

I shut my locker then turned around, where I see Krista and that cute little face she makes looking up at me.

"Hi there", she says with a smile.

"Why hello", I say putting my backpack on.

"Sasha is coming to my place to do the project, so I thought maybe you and Mikasa would like to come too if that's fine", she said.

"I was thinking the same thing, that'll be perfect, lets go", I say grabbing her hand.

Shit.

Why did I just grab her hand she's gonna think I'm weird or something.

I pull away quickly and then look down at the ground in embarrassment.

"S- sorry I didn't mean to do that", I say in a quiet voice.

"Sorry about what?" She says grabbing my hand. "Holding hands isn't weird all friends do it"

Friend zoned. Again.

We walked down the hall hand in hand looking for Sasha and Mikasa.

"Ymir! Krista! Out here!" Sasha shouted.

We walk outside over to them, letting go of each other's hand.

"Alright let's go", Sasha said skipping over to her car.

Present time

"Damn it's getting late. I should probably get going", Sasha said looking at the time on her phone.

"Yea same here, I'll finish the project in the morning ok Ymir?" Mikasa said grabbing her things.

"Yea that's fine, see you guys tomorrow!" I shouted as they walked out the door.

"I should get going too, I'm pretty tired." I say getting up.

"Ymir wait."

Krista grabs my arm not allowing me to walk any further. I turn around and see her looking up at me. We made full eye contact. I always get so scared when we make that type of eye contact.

"W- what's wrong Krista", I asked turning around to face her.

"I know you don't usually have a full breakfast, and you don't even bring in a lunch, just a single fruit. So do you want to stay here until you're able to get the money to buy food? I have plenty of food here for you that way you can actually have a breakfast, lunch and dinner." Krista said.

I could tell she was worried as to how I was going to respond.

She's so sweet. Everything about her is just perfect.

"That would be a huge help, thank you Krista."

She smiled and led me to her bedroom. It was completely clean this time. I wonder why she cleaned it?

"Do you have an air mattress or like a soft blanket I can sleep on", I ask looking around.

"No. But I have a bed", she said smiling.

Well that works even better.

"Here are some pajamas", Krista says throwing them over.

I smile at her and give her a 'thank you' and then head to the bathroom to get changed. I look down to see what she gave me.

Hmm what do we have here.

I hold up the pair of pants she gave me, with nothing else in my arms.

That's it? Only a pair of pants? What am I supposed to use as a shirt? I can't use the one I'm wearing now it already smells bad.

Whatever.

I put the pair of pajamas pants on and then take my shirt off. Leaving me with only a sports bra for my pajama shirt.

"Sorry that I don't have a shirt on you didn't give me o-"

"Wait don't come in!" Krista says as I walked through the door.

Krista is there with her bra and underwear bending down to pick up her pajama pants.

I look at her for a long while until she cuts my gaze off.

"Hey Ymir I said don't come in! And why are you staring weirdo?"

"O- oh i'm sorry I uh, I didn't mean to", I say looking down trying to hide my blush.

"I was only kidding, but it's ok I forgive you", she said pulling her shirt over her head.

"Where's your shirt?" She asks.

"Oh you didn't give me one so I can only wear this sports bra, I can put on the one I wore today if you would li-"

"No that's ok."

I walk over and climb into bed with her. Her bed was pretty uncomfortable, but i'de sleep on the most uncomfortable bed in the world if it meant I could be sleeping by her side.

We were both facing opposite directions. I wish we weren't, I want to see her adorable face.

"Hey Ymir", Krista turned around to face me, and when I heard her voice I turned around to face her, not knowing that she turned around as well. We both lied there, with our heads almost touching, looking into each others eyes in complete shock from how close we were.

"Sorry Krista I didn't know you turned around too-"

Krista leaned forward, causing our forehead and noses to touch, and we continued to look in each others eyes.

Kiss me Krista. Just do it come on.

Krista closed her eyes and put her arms around me, and leaning her head into my chest.

"Thank you for today Ymir, you saved me."

This is even better than a kiss. This is everything i've ever wanted.

"Anything for you", I said as we both started blushing.

We lied there in silence just enjoying the moment.

God I hope this night never ends. And I hope she's thinking the same thing too.
