30 The save

Ymir's POV-

"Hey... is this swing taken?"

"Oh um... no, you can sit there?"

"Oh ok thank you! What's your name?"

"I'm Ymir, I'm a new kid here."

"Oh cool! I'm Krista Lenz, i've been here for about a year, so I started here in first grade! It's really fun because they give us so much minutes for recess!"

"I haven't been having fun though."

"You haven't... why not?"

"Because i've made no friends."

"Well that's easy to fix. I'll be your friend!"

"R- really? Will you actually?"

"Yeah! We can hang out and play games and swing on the swing set together!"

"O- ok... I guess that sounds fun."

"Hoorayyy! Let's be best friends forever and ever!"

"O- ok."

Krista.

You were the first person to ever talk to me. We said we'd be best friends forever... but you forgot my name the next day. But now look at us. We are in love. We are happy. We... were happy. I guess we really did keep our word for being best friends forever didn't we. Because even though you're my lover... you've still been my best friend.

"YMIR!"

W- what?

Before I could fall 40 feet down, Krista reached her hand out and grabbed me. She held me with all of her strength. Her sweat and tears were dripping down onto me as she tried her best to pull me up.

"K- Krista?"

Her face was determined as she used all her strength to pull me up.

"G- give me your other... h- hand!" She says as my hand starts to slip out of hers.

I reach my hand up and she grabs onto it. I let out a quick scream of pain because she pulled on my broken arm.

"I- i'm sorry... just hold on!" She says gritting her teeth while using all of her might.

I push my foot off of one of the closets bricks to give her some help, and then she finally gains enough strength to pull me up and into her room.

I collapsed on her being unable to move because of the weakness I had in me at the moment.

"YMIR!" She says sobbing and wrapping her arms around me.

I get off of her and sit on the ground. We embrace each other in each other's arms and cry on each other's shoulder.

"Ymir what happened? Are you ok?" She asks cupping my cheeks in her hand.

"I- I needed to see you... I couldn't accept the fact that I was never able to see you again. So I decided to come over here yesterday and try to climb up to see you. I fell around 5 times from really high heights. I broke my right arm and fractured my left. I fucked up my back and I have bruises, scars and wounds all over me from falling. But I still kept climbing so I could see you. After the last fall last night, I became too weak to do anything at all. So I promised myself that I would climb this stupid fucking apartment so I could see you no matter how many bones I broke."

"Y- Ymir... why would you ever do that!? You almost died. Ymir... you almost died trying to see me. Why?" She asks holding onto my face tighter.

"Krista because I love you... I love you so much. I love your beautiful eyes, your beautiful face, your beautiful hair, your beautiful personality, your beautiful voice, your beautiful lips, everything. I needed to see you! I couldn't stand the fact that I would never be able to see you again. At least not without telling you how I felt."

"Y- Ymir... you didn't have to do this. I'm so sorry I put you through all of th-"

"Don't. Don't say that. Krista I love you so much... I promise you didn't put me through anything... ok?" I say kissing her forehead.

"I- I love you too Ymir. I love you so much. I'm so glad you came back", she says leaning forward and holding onto me tightly. "C- can we please stay like this?"

"Of course my darling. Of course."

"Krista what are you doing in there?" Her father asks as he opens the door.

His eyes bulged out of his head when he saw me.

"W- WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?" He screams not even giving Krista a chance to talk.

"Dad plea-"

"SHUT UP. YOU'RE SO USELESS... YOU CAN'T EVEN GO A DAY WITHOUT SEEING THIS STUPID GIRL! USELESS BITCH!"

"ASS HOLE! NOBODY CALLS MY DARLING USELESS! GO TO HELL!" I say getting up and storming over to him.

"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY TO M-"

I stop him from yelling by punching him as hard as i've ever punched someone in my life. It hurt like hell though.

"Go fuck yourself douche bag. She's mine and if you even thought in your right mind that I would never see my darling again... you're sadly mistaken."

His face was all bloody as he was up against the wall, almost knocked out.

"I... d- don't... want you near... my... m- my daught-"

I shut him up by kicking him upwards in the face.

"W- what was that? Want to say it again ass hole? I'm listening!"..."If you ever say anything like that again to her, i'll mess your face up so bad that you won't even be able to see yourself."

I spit in his face before kicking his balls and then walking back to Krista.

"Are you ok darli-"

"YMIR!" She screams tackling me in a hug. "YMIR YOU'RE SO AMAZING! THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

She takes my face and pulls it over towards hers... immediately smashing her lips against mine.

I could feel her warm tear drops fall down onto my cheek.

"We have to get you to a hospital!" She says pulling away.

"No! Stay here will me, that's all I want." I say grabbing her back close to me.

We both hug each other with love and I rubbed her back to make her feel more comfortable and safe with me.

"Ymir... i'm so glad you're ok."

"And I am even more glad that I can see you again. Being with you feels so amazing and calming. W- when I hold you in my arms... I feel like everything in going to be... ok."
