TWENTY SEVEN: IS THIS LOVE?
The days rolled by. Chisom was very calm and nice. He cried less. Only when he was hungry and when he was in pain. He was a very beautiful boy. My heart swelled when Madam showered him with love like her own grandson.
Daniel also came to see me. He brought gifts which I refused all the time. I didn't want anything from him. I could fend for myself. Daniel and I had become extremely close.
He was charming and honest and assured me that he'd keep bringing gifts. He called Chisom his son.
Chisom was always cheerful when he was around. Always giving his cheerful chuckles and shaking his little legs.
I smiled while looking at them both. Father and son.
Father and son?
That thought was good to be true.
"Stop thinking." Daniel said. "You're always thinking."
"Let me be, jare." I said and chuckled.
"Do you really want me to let you be?" He asked grinning.
"Yes." I said and laid Chisom in his cot.
"I need to sleep. I'm tired.""Well, I'm not letting you go just yet." He said and pulled me closer to himself. My breasts were against his chest. His eyes staring at mine.
"What are you doing, Dan...?"
"Something." He cut me off and gave a kiss on the lips.
