THIRD PERSON'S POV

2 years later...

Rosanna has a baby strapped to her back. She was cooking dinner when she heard a loud noise.

"Chisom Daniel Ekwueme, stop thrashing things this instant." She said and sighed.

"This boy will not kill me." She said and shook her head.

The front door is unlocked and she heard the clinking of keys.

"Hello baby." Daniel said and kissed Rosanna on the cheek. "The baby is asleep."

"I know." She whispered.

"Daddy! Daddy!!" Chisom screamed and Rosanna hissed.

"This boy ehn." Rosanna said and looked away, bringing down the pot from the gas cooker.

"How's my champ doing?" Daniel asked carrying Chisom.

"Mom keeps shouting at me." He said pouting.

"Because you keep doing bad things." Rosanna replied and looked at Daniel.

"But all I did was scatter my toys and throw the pillows."

"That's not fair, Chi." Daniel said and smiled at him. "Now say sorry to mommy."

"I'm sorry Mom." He said and Rosanna eyed Daniel.

"You couldn't have asked him to. I'd have beaten him up."

"But I...I said sorry." Chisom said and struggled out of Daniel's arms. He began to arrange the pillows and then ran up to his room.

"Rosa na..." Daniel called.

"Eh eh. You pamper him so much. He's three years old for Christ sake." She said and walked away. 

Daniel followed her as she went into the baby's room.

"How is Chinonso?" He asked as she placed the baby in the cot.

"She's fine."

"Baby don't be upset with me na." He said and hugged her from behind.

She sighed and released his grip on her. She walked into their bedroom and sat on the bed.

"Baby." Daniel said and knelt down beside her. "My love."

"Daniel, I begged you. Pampering Chisom will not be nice. I told you." She said and folded her arms. 

"I'm sorry. I won't pamper him that much again."

"Are you sure?" She asked and he smiled.

"I'm sure dear."

She kissed his forehead and he hugged her.

"How was today?" She asked and removed his jacket.

"Fine dear. I missed you." He replied and kissed her lips.

They were lost in the moment and they heard a knock on the door.

"Mom, Dad."

"Yes honey." Rosa replied and they turned to look at him.

"I'm sorry Mom for misbehaving. Please forgive me and Dad, you'll not regret pampering me." Chisom said and went towards them.

Rosa pulled him closer to herself and hugged him.

"I forgive you baby." She replied and kissed his forehead. "And I love you too."

"I love you too Champ."  Daniel said and kissed his cheek.
Rosa engulfed them in a hug. 

This was her life now. The best life she  could ask for.

The beautiful life for a beautiful Woman.
