THIRTY TWO: MEET MY FAMILY

Smoothly and happily, the weeks went by. Chisom was also cheerful. Everyone, as usual went about their jobs and there were no complaints.

Daniel most times came to keep me company. He also played with Chisom to ease some tension. Daniel was charming and very handsome. I had overheard some of the girls at the restaurant talk about him.

I was smiling when I felt arms around me. I knew it was Daniel so I laughed.

"You're just so busy. You have no time for me." He mouthed and I chuckled.

"Is that so?" I asked and I felt him nod.

"Oh, I didn't know. You seem to be enjoying with those girls na." I said and turned around. He raised an eyebrow and I smiled.

"It's you I want biko." He mouthed and kissed my lips. My hands found his way around his shoulder and his hand gripped my waist firmly.

"I...could kiss you all day." He murmured against my lips and kissed me again.

I heard someone clear her throat and we both separated. We turned to see Mama smiling and shaking her head.

"There's a room there." She pointed and laughed, walking away.

"I want you to meet my family." He said and I looked up at him.

"Now...but it's too early." I said.

"It's been seven months my love. We'll get married when you've added a year. But let's meet my people first."

"Don't you understand?" I asked and moved away from him.

"I'm scared, Daniel. They'll hate me." I said and turned my back towards him. "I don't want this. Let's just move on."

"What do you mean?" He asked, holding my shoulders.

"Maybe this shouldn't be happening. I haven't told you that I love you, have I?" I asked and turned to him.

"Yes you haven't. But..."

"I do...but I'm not right for you." I said and walked towards the shelf.

"Who said you aren't?" He asked and grabbed my shoulders. "Who said you aren't? I never said so."

"I said so. I'm not right for you, Daniel." I said and moved my shoulders from his grasp.

"You're meant for me. You're right." He said and carried me into his arms and into a room.  Using his leg, he closed the door. He placed me on the bed and bent towards me. His lips found my neck and he bit me.

"Daniel...stop." I whispered.

"You're mine." He whispered and kissed me hungrily, removing the wrapper that was around my waist. I was beginning to feel his bulge, my heart skipped.

I moaned against him as he struggled to remove my blouse. I began to unbutton his shirt. He pulled down his trousers and he kissed me again.

Parting my legs, he moved in, slowly, slowly, until all of him was in. He rode slowly, his lips on mine. The feelings were overwhelming. I wanted to explode.

Faster...faster...

As though he heard me, he moved faster and after a while, we touched the stars and soon came back to our senses.

"So...will you meet my family now?" He asked, kissing my neck.

"Yes." I whispered and wrapped my legs around him.
