"Good morning, captives, both old and new. Today, we shall either continue or begin your pirate training, depending on who you are," Bill greeted as he opened the door to where the captives were sleeping.
"But I'm still tired," Albert complained.
"Everyone out, now!" Terrance demanded. No matter how tired they were, everyone immediately rose to their feet and left the room.
"And, you, get to the kitchen and make some breakfast!" Bill yelled at Annie, for they made her the new chef on the Air Mando.
"Good morning, everyone. Did you sleep well?" Captain Modi asked.
"I'd sleep much better if I weren't held captive by you, Villain," Jasper muttered to himself.
"I heard that, young man," Captain Modi said.
"I challenge you to a duel, then," Jasper declared.
"Maybe we should have told him that that might not be the best idea," Charles whispered to Caden.
"You can say that again," Caden replied.
Jasper grabbed a sword and ran up to the pirate captain. While Captain Modi was an expert swordsman, Jasper was a bit more competent at using a weapon than his friends.
"Seems as though this fight will last a little longer than other battles I have fought in over the last couple of days," Captain Modi remarked after trying to knock the sword out of Jasper's hand.
"I have had more time to prepare for this moment than the other captives on this ship," Jasper pointed out.
Unfortunately for Jasper and his friends, Captain Modi had soon cornered him near the wall where everyone else was standing.
"Meg! Take over for me!" Jasper yelled as he tossed his sword to her.
"In all of my years of being a pirate captain, I can tell you that this has never happened before," Captain Modi explained after learning that he was now going to be fighting a girl!
"Well, this is 1844. Lots of things change in twenty years," Meg replied.
The two of them moved all around the ship's upper deck, the two swords clashing every second. However, Meg was soon near the mast of the Air Mando, with nowhere else to go. She looked into Captain Modi's sea-blue eyes, and all of a sudden, she was able to knock the sword out of his hand.
"What's going on?" Bill asked after the sword had dropped onto the deck.
"This has never happened before!" Kevin added.
"Excuse me for a minute," Captain Modi told everyone before going to his cabin on the ship.
