"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Captain Modi asked after seeing the intruders on the Air Mando.
"Oh, my gosh! You're Captain Modi!" Jasper exclaimed.
"Sorry, Sir. We ended up getting stranded on this island during the storm. We were looking for someone or something that could maybe help us get back to civilization," Annie said apologetically, hoping her story sounded believable enough.
"Wait a minute. I know you. You were that coward who escaped the ship we attacked a few days ago when we kidnapped all of those boys!" Terrance realized after getting a good look at Jasper.
"What? I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're talking about. There's been a misunderstanding. We've never seen each other in our lives, and we're just trying to find our way back home," Jasper lied.
"If that's the case then, how about you join us until we return to where you came from?" Captain Modi suggested.
"That's very thoughtful of you, Sir, but my cousin, Meg-" Annie began.
"Wouldn't feel too comfortable if she found out her cousin was held captive on the Air Mando," Jasper interrupted, covering up for Meg, hoping that she would remain safe on the island and hidden from the pirates.
"Oh, don't worry. We'll keep this young lady nice and safe and promise we won't harm her. As for you, how would you feel about learning to be a pirate with the rest of your friends?" Terrance said.
