Sorry for it being this long to upload. I am all caught up with school now and I am finally on break. I do plan to have Chapter 9 up at least before Tuesday, so be on the lookout for that. Also, I did make add some minor changes. I changed the name of the gang leader that Prince and Michael are under because I felt like the name before wasn't scary enough lol. and I added 2 more cast characters for the ones that will be in the book. 1 more will be cast in the next chapter and I'm done lol. Hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 8

Michael's POV

After we dropped the girls off at their homes, Prince and I finally made our way to our gang meeting. We walk down the block and catch the number 28 Stony Island bus to go to 87th street.

"Aye man, have you ever thought about telling the girls we are in a gang?" Prince asks.

"Naw. Not even to Tasha man. I don't want her to think negatively of me. And I don't want her afraid of me."

"What if she may not just be afraid of you. Maybe worry about you?" he asks as I shrug my shoulders.

"To be completely honest, I don't know what she would think of me," I admit to Prince as the 87th street bus approaches us. We got on the 87th Stony Island bus to go to 83rd Chatham street. It took about 30 to 45 mins, depending on the number of people on the bus. We got there at about midnight. It was an old warehouse building that Blade got halfway remodeled. The half of the building close to the door is boarded up with graffiti sprayed around the building. Before we walk inside, Prince mentions:

"Aye, we should hide out stuff we got from the mall. Don't need to ask where we got it from."

I nodded and we hid our bags behind the dumpster that's next to the entrance. We walked inside the building and his two bodyguards, Claud and Tony, were already at the door.

"He's been waiting for you two for the longest," Tony says.

"Whateva," Prince waves his handoff. We walk into the meeting room, which is in the back of the building, and. Price the table full of the rest of the members surrounding Blade.

"Well, if it isn't my two best workers," Blade says as we approach to take a seat.

"We were out late," Prince explains.

"Yeah, sorry for the inconvenience Blade," I sigh as I sit down. We sit with the rest of the crew so Blade can finish talking about whatever he was talking about.

"So what's the plan? We bust in on 'me fools or what?" Amari mentions.

"I say we blast on them, take their dope, and head out!" Shankari says.

"No," Blade says with his deep stern rough voice as he slams his hand on the table. "I don't get time in takin' bunch of niggas out of jail for doing something so simple. Now, I want y'all to do this the right way."

"Wait, what and who are we doing? Prince asks, confused."

"We are planning a way to break in the Cripton Knights and steal their shit."

"What kind of shit we talkin', " I asked with furrowed brows.

"Drugs. More profit, mo' money we get," Tyson explains. I felt a siege of a little panic coming through me.

Latasha's POV

It's Wednesday of October 12th, and today's theme is Twins/Triplets Day. We're in the middle of spirit week, and it is a day students got to find their friends and decide to dress up alike. Today Kiesha, Kaylaa, and I decided to be triplets. We wore our hair the same style, which was straight with bangs and half ponytail, half down. We're wearing a gray Nickelodeon cartoon Sweatshirt with blue jeans, and black, white, and gray Jordans. We were also wearing cute colorful wristbands, and we each wore different necklaces. My necklace was the letter L for my name. Kaylaa has her necklace that says Babygirl, and Kiesha has the letter K on her necklace.
