The apocalypse. It ruined so many people's lives, turned their worlds upside down and made everything worse. But that wasn't the case for everyone. For some, the apocalypse was the best thing that could've happened to them. Before they were outcasts, their lives were in ruins, their future was questionable. The apocalypse gave them a second chance.
Elle Coleman fell into the second category.
The dead started walking when Elle was but twelve years old. She was with people who finally cared about her and wanted her. It was all perfect. Until it wasn't. In a blink of an eye, she lost all the people that she had grown to care for.
But, when she stumbles across a group of survivors, she's given another chance. One final chance at a family, people she can love and who will love her. And you know what they say,
