chapter five

Mila's POV: 

The next day, I walked down to Care for Magical Creatures, near Hagrid's hut. "Mila! Wait up!" I hear Bella behind me. I smile as I turn around, "You're early" She says as we continue to walk down the hill.

"Couldn't really sleep last night" I mumble.

She nods, "I swear, Care for Magical Creatures is so boring!"

"I know, but we either go to class or get detention" I say.

We continue to walk down the hill till we reached the large crowd of people, who were surrounding Hagrid.

"I got a real treat for you today, a great lesson. So, follow me" Hagrid says.

We all follow him through the forest, with some people chattering along the way. "Form a group over there," Hagrid points to a corner, "And open your books to page 49"

"Exactly how do we do that?" Draco mutters.

Hagrid turns around, "Well just stroke the spine of course, goodness me.." He says before he disappears into the forest.

I roll my eyes as I look back at Bella. She smiles, "Always so dramatic"

"I know right.." I whisper.

I look around, when I see the book trying to eat Neville Longbottom, in some odd way.

"Don't be such a wimp, Longbottom" Draco mumbles.

I glare at him before I bend down on Neville's level and grab his book. I quickly stroke the spine of the book, as it calms down. "What the fuck are you doing Blackwood?" Draco asks me.

"Being nice, something that you can't do" I say as I look down at the book.

I hear Draco scoff as I look at Neville, "Ignore him" I whisper to him.

"Thanks Mila.." Neville says to me.

I smile before I stand back up and help him get up.

I stand next to Alexa, when I hear Draco begin as he was looking at Harry, Hermione and Ron, "Oh terribly funny, really witty, god this place has gone to the dogs. Wait until my father hears that Dumbledore's got this oaf teaching classes" He says.

"Does he ever shut up?" I whisper to Alexa. She laughs a little before we look in front of us.

"Shut up Malfoy" Harry says as he walks a little closer to Draco.

Draco and Blaise whistle a little as they look at each other. Draco begins to walk a little closer to Harry. "He's literally the dumbest person here.." I mumble.

Out of no where, Draco gives a blank face as he points upwards, "Dementor, Dementor!" He yells as he laughs with Flint and Blaise. Harry immediately turned around as he got scared. I couldn't help myself but walk towards him, "You know you're a little git, right?" I say to his face.

He raises his eyebrows, "Take a look at yourself Blackwood"

"Scaring someone with their fear is just pathetic, I hope you know that!" I yell at him.

"We're just having a little fun Blackwood!" He looks at Flint, "I swear, she can't take a joke.." He mutters.

I get interrupted when Hagrid clears his throat, when he points to his left. We all look beside him, when we see a creature with feathers and wings, which was probably taller than all of us. "Isn't he beautiful? Say hello to Buckbeak!"

"Hagrid, exactly what is that?" Ron asks.

"That Ron, is a hippogriff. First thing you want to know about hippogriff's is that they're very proud creatures. Very easily offended, you do not want to insult a hippogriff" Hagrid says.

"Oh look, it's Malfoy's twin!" I call out.

Everyone laughs besides Draco, as he was glaring at me. Even Hagrid chuckled a little, "Now, who'd like to come and say hello?" Hagrid says. Everyone backs away slowly, although Harry stayed still.

"Well done Harry! Well done!" Hagrid says.

Harry slowly comes towards Buckbeak and slowly bows in front of him. I saw Draco, Flint and Blaise dying with laughter in the corner till I looked back at Harry.

After a few seconds, Buckbeak slowly comes closer to Harry, till Harry was able to touch Buckbeak.

Everyone breaks out with applause, except for Draco, Blaise and Flint. "Well done Harry!" Hagrid repeats.

Out of no where, Hagrid carried Harry, before he placed him on top of Buckbeak. Draco, Blaise and Flint laughed louder than before till Harry was in the air flying, on Buckbeak.

"I hope he falls and never comes back" Draco says.

"Do you ever shut up?" I say to him.

"How dare you talk to me like that, wait until I tell your mother about this attitude, I suspect she won't like this new you Blackwood" He mumbles.

"Oh really? Don't forget me to remind your father about your little stubborn, rude ass" I say.

"Wait, your parents know each other?" Alexa asks.

"Unfortunately" I say as I keep my eyes on Draco. He rolls his eyes as he sits down and looks at Blaise.

It wasn't long till Harry returned back on Buckbeak. Everyone claps again, "Well done Harry! Well done Buckbeak!" Hagrid calls out.

"Oh please" Draco mutters as he stands back up.

"What's he doing now?" I mumble.

Draco walks past a few people before he pushes two people away from each other and walks in between them. I realised he was walking towards Buckbeak, "Yeah, you're not dangerous at all, are you? You great ugly brut.." Draco says as he gets closer to Buckbeak.

I gasp as Buckbeak jumps in front of him and scratches his arm, which causes Draco to fall on the ground. Hagrid manages to get Buckbeak away from Draco. I immediately rush over to Draco, "It's killed me! It's killed me!" He yells on the ground as he grabs onto his arm.

I couldn't help but smile as I looked down at him. "It's just a scratch!" Hagrid says as he looks down at Draco.

"Hagrid, he needs to be taken to Madam Promfrey" I say.

"I'm the teacher, I'll do it" Hagrid says before he carries Draco.

"Mila, grab Malfoy's bag and follow me" Hagrid says to me.

I widen my eyes, "I'm not carrying his bag!" I yell.

"Mila.." He mumbles.

I sigh, "Fine.." I mutter before I walk back and grab his bag.

I pick up mine as well before I follow Hagrid, "Your going to regret this! You and your bloody chicken!" Draco calls out.

I chuckle a little as I looked at the ground while we continued to walk back to Madam Promfrey.
