chapter twenty six

A week has passed by, as we have all had our usual classes ever since, till it was the day before the first tournament.

I was in potions with Alexa, Bella, Blaise and Draco, as we were brewing our potions. We had to get into pairs of 2, so I went with Bella, Alexa and Blaise were together, and Pansy was obviously with Draco. I placed a rose thorn into the brewing pot, as Bella collected the rest of the ingredients. "Dracy! Stop!" Pansy shrieks across the room, as Draco was tickling her as they both laughed. "Dracy!" She yells from how much laughter he was causing. He laughs even more as she was slowly falling to the ground, as he held onto her while he continued to tickle her.

"Excuse me, Miss Parkinson and Mr Malfoy, If you two wouldn't like to receive detention, I suggest you both keep quiet!" Snape yells at them. Draco's face falls as he lets go of Pansy, as she falls to the ground. Draco keeps his eyes on Snape, before he walks away. Pansy chuckles a little, "A little help here?" She says to Draco, as she raises her hand.

Draco looks down at her, "Get yourself off the ground" He spits out. He looks at her for a few seconds before he goes back to the potion they were brewing. Pansy manages to get off the ground herself, when she looks at me. I was stirring the potion inside the brewing pot, as I looked back at her. We both give each other small smiles, before she walks back over to Draco.

I sigh as I stand on my tippy toes to look over the brewing pot, when I feel two hands wrap around my waist from behind. I gasp at the sudden touch, when I turn my head, and realise it was Adrian. I widen my eyes as my face goes a little red, "Adrian, what the fuck are you doing here?" I whisper to him.

He smirks, "Snape asked me to join his class for the rest of the year, as he believes I should be in the advanced classes," He looks down into the brewing pot, "Now I reckon," He takes his right hand off my waist, as he keeps his left hand still on my waist. He takes the wooden spoon from my hand, "You should be stirring a little more harder" He says before he begins to stir the potion, faster than I was.

I roll my eyes, "Wow, there's no point in having Professor Snape, I should've just came to you for all my questions" I say in sarcasm. He chuckles under his breath, "You should've came to me if you wanted to pass all your exams"

I scoff, "You think I would pass my exams from you? All you care about is Quidditch, and-"

"And my education" He cuts me off. I turn my head to look up at him again, as we both smile at each other. Our lips we're at least 4cm away from each other, although we couldn't kiss, not here. I look back at the brewing pot, as he continued to stir.

Bella walks back to us, as she gasps while her eyes widen, as she must've noticed where his hand was sitting. "Oh, uh.." She mumbles.

"Sorry.. I just wasn't expecting you to be.. here.. in this class" She says. Adrian smirks, "I just joined this class" He says.

Bella nods when she looks back at me as she grins. I roll my eyes at her, as I smile back. Although, Snape comes towards us, which makes Adrian take his hand off my waist. "Mr Pucey, glad you found yourself a partner" He looks at me.

"Oh, I'm with Bella-"

"No she isn't!" Bella calls out. I turn my head to look at her, as she's looking at Snape. "Then who are you with, Miss Zabini?" He asks.

"M-myself.." She says.

Surprisingly, Snape nods before he walks away. I look back at Bella, "Why did you do-"

"Relax, you guys suit each other, besides, he's helping you" She smirks.

I sigh, "But you-"

"Mila, do you mind grabbing me some peppermint?" Adrian asks. I look back at him as I smile, "Sure" I say as I walk towards the Ingredients table.

For the rest of the day, Adrian and I spent all the time together. We didn't even go to dinner, by how much we were enjoying each other's company.

We enter the Slytherin common room, as he decided to walk me to my dorm. It wasn't long till we reach my dorm, as he stood outside while I opened up the door. I chuckle, "Are you coming in? No one's here" I say.

He sighs before he nods, "Sure"

We enter my dorm, as I sit on my bed, as he walks around the room, observing everything. He picks up a picture of Bella, Pansy, Alexa and I once we were in first year, when smiles while he looks at it, "You all look different now.." He mumbles as he looks at it for a few seconds, puts it back on the table before he looks at me. I smile as we both kept on looking at each other, "What?"

He smirks as he walks towards me, "What?"

I chuckle, "Stop staring"

"Tell yourself that Blackwood" He laughs.

We both keep on looking at each other, as he walked a little more closer to me, till he was standing right in front of me. I look up at him as I was still sitting on the bed, before he slowly lowered his head to me, till he planted a soft kiss on my lips.

We continued to kiss for a few seconds, as his right hand cupped my cheek, as I kept my hands on my lap. He kissed me for some time, till the door to my dorm opens up, when Bella and Alexa stand on the door. They gasp when they see us, causing Adrian to step away from me as he broke the kiss. I looked over, when I saw Alexa and Bella's mouths were dropped, as they looked at me and Adrian. "Uhh.. I have to go.." Adrian mumbles.

He turns to look at me, "I'll see you around" He says before he turns back and walks out of the dorm. Bella closes the door behind him, as her smirk grows.

I chuckle, "Oh shut up.." I say.

They both shriek loudly, "How long was he in here for?!" Alexa asks.

"Uhh.. just a few minutes.. why?"

"So you two didn't do anything else?!" Bella asks.

I shake my head, "What else were we supposed to do?"

"Become boyfriend and girlfriend of course!"

I roll my eyes as I get off my bed, "I can't do this" I say as I smirk.

"Mila!" They both yell at the same time.

I didn't respond, as I walked into the bathroom, with the smirk still on my face.
