chapter thirty five

The day of the Yule ball finally came by, as everyone had free periods for the day to get ready. It was now 5:30pm, when I began to get ready. After I had my shower, I wore my dark green dressed, then dried my hair. Once my hair was dry, I curled it. I placed some makeup on, before I exited the bathroom. Alexa, Bella and Pansy were already done and ready, as they were sitting on they're bed. "Are you ready?" Bella stands up as she asks me. "Almost" I say as I place some of my jewellery on. I spray my perfume, "Okay, lets go" I say. Alexa and Pansy stand up as we all walk out of our dorm.

We walk down the stairs, when I see a bunch of boys, standing and waiting for they're date to come down the stairs. I look at Cedric who was talking to his friends, when he looks across at Bella as he smiles. I look and see Blaise standing with Adrian and Draco, as they were talking till Draco looked at me. He widened his eyes as he stared at me, when Adrian turned his head to look at me. He was wearing a white button up shirt with his black dress pants, like Draco was.

I reach the bottom of the stairs as Adrian walks towards me, "I guess we need to talk.." He mumbles.

I sigh, "No, we don't, not now" I say.

He nods slowly as he smiles, "You look beautiful" He says.

I smile, "You don't look so bad yourself"

He rolls his eyes as we both chuckle a little. I turn my head, when I realised that Draco was still looking at me as Pansy was hugging him. "Dracy! Don't I look beautiful? Don't I look gorgeous? Pretty? Adorable? Glamorous? Dracy?" Pansy says till she realises that he was looking at me.

"Dracy..  why are you looking at her?" She takes her hands off him as she looks at him.

"Dracy?" She repeats again.

Draco continues to look at me before he looks at her, "Hm?" He hums.

"Why are you looking at her?" She asks.

"I-I wasn't.." He mutters.

"But you we're.." She mumbles.

He scoffs, "Oh for fuck sakes, I wasn't.. let's just go.." He says before he takes her hand and walk towards the Great Hall. I look at Adrian as he was smirking a little. "She's my friend and all.. but I genuinely don't like them together.." I say.

Adrian nods, "I never really liked Pansy, she was always annoying.." He says. I look back at Draco and Pansy as they enter the Great Hall. "Listen," I look at him, "I want to apologise about what happened last week.. I should've not said those things about how I'm just a make-out buddy.." I say.

He nods a little, "I'm sorry as well.. I just thought you were fine with it and all.."

I chuckle a little, "I am fine with it, I was just confused and all.." I say.

He smirks, "I never really got the chance to say my feelings towards you, as you literally stormed out of my dorm.." We both laugh a little. I smirk, "So tell me Adrian, what are your feelings towards me?" I ask.

He looks at the ground before he looks back at me as his smirk grows, "I like you as well, if that's so hard to see," We laugh again, "I really like you Mila.." He says.

I part my lips to speak when Alexa interrupts me, "Guys! We need to go inside! The ball starts in 15 minutes!"

Adrian sighs, "Always interrupted, aren't we?" I smile a little, "Just 2 minutes Alexa.." She nods before she walks inside the Great Hall with Blaise.

Adrian stares at me for a few seconds, "Oh for fuck sakes-" He says before he placed his lips on mine. I feel him wrap his hands around my waist as I placed mine around his neck. He pulls away after a few seconds, as we both smile at each other, "So I guess you were fine with that?" He asks.
