chapter nine

About a week has passed since what happened at Hogsmeade. Draco and I haven't exactly argued since then, as we have both been avoiding each other. There were some times were we both looked at each other, although this time, he didn't say anything. He would only scoff or roll his eyes whenever I spoke.

I was walking down the hall towards Defence Against The Dark Arts, when Harry comes up to me. "Mila!" Harry says as he rushes after me.

I smile, "Hi Harry"

"Hi.." He mumbles.

I chuckle, "Are you going to Defence Against The Dark Arts?" I ask as he catches his breath.

"Yeah.. you?"

I nod, "Unfortunately.. I should still be asleep by now" We both laugh before we begin to continue to walk to class.

We walk for a few minutes till we reached our class. We enter, as everyone was sitting in their spots already while chattering loudly. "I guess I'll see you soon.." Harry mumbles to me. I nod before I walk over to the free spot next to Alexa. She smirks at me, "Looks like you got the whole school wrapped around your finger"

I chuckle, "What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean.. about Harry, Blaise, Flint, who knows.. Snape?" We both laugh.

"What?" I cry out.

"You don't notice the way Harry looks at you" She says.

I widen my eyes, "No.."

Her smirk grows as she nods, "Yes.." I sigh as I turn my head around, when I look at Harry, as he was already looking at me. I turn back to face Alexa, "Oh my god.." I whisper.

She playfully hits my arm, "See?!"

"But... Blaise and Flint?" I ask.

"I'm not sure 100% sure about Flint.. although Blaise.. I mean you guys are close!" She says.

"Yeah, we're close but not that close!"

She scoffs before she looks away from me. I follow her gaze, when I realised she was looking at Blaise, while he was looking at her. I smirk, "See?!" I mock her.

"Oh shut up.." She mumbles as she looks at me before she looks back at him. She smiles a little till she looks back at me. "What did I tell you?" I say.

She rolls her eyes, "See, your blushing.." My smirk grows.

She laughs a little, "My god Mila.. you don't have to point it out" We both laugh again.

It wasn't long till the door blasts open, as Snape walks into the classroom. He closes all the blinds with his wand as he walks to the front of the room. He faces all of us, "Turn to page 394.." He mutters.

Alexa and I give each other a confused look before we grab our books out of our bags. "Miss Blackwood, swap seats with Mr Zabini.." Snape says.

I widen my eyes till I look at Blaise, then realise Draco was sitting next to him. "But sir-" I begin.

"Miss Blackwood, that wasn't an option" He cuts me off.

I scoff as I grab all my things and look at Alexa. I mouth, "help me" as I stand out of my seat. I turn around as I walk past  Blaise, before Draco was in my view. I drop my things on the desk, when I realised Draco's feet was up on the seat I was supposed to sit on. I roll my eyes as I push his feet off the seat harshly before I sit down. "No need to give me attitude Blackwood" I hear Draco whisper to me.
