chapter fifteen

Another 2 weeks pass by, as we were leaving Hogwarts the next day, as they year was completed. Things were still normal, Draco and I have our daily arguments, and Adrian and I have gotten closer. We were spending time with each other now for most of the time, by how much he asked me to hangout with him.

"And then I was like, 'Why are you so loud?!', and then he was like 'Your the ones who's going off your lungs at me!'" Adrian says before we both burst out laughing. We continue to walk in the snow, as the wind gets colder. "Can you believe it's finally the end of third year?" I ask.

"I know right, it feels like it was only yesterday once I got off the Hogwarts Express train, and now we're heading back home tomorrow" He mumbles.

I nod slowly, "Hey, Mila?" He asks.

"Hm?" I turn my head to look at him.

He chuckles a little, "I want to say thank you.." He mumbles.

I smirk, "What for?"

"For everything.. no what I mean is like.. thank you for being a good friend.. I mean, I've only known you for a few months now, and I know that I can trust you with my life by how considerate and pure you are.." He mumbles.

I smile, "Adrian.."

"No, but I'm serious.. like once I first saw you before the Quidditch game, I wanted to know you.. you just.. you just stood out to me I guess.. so thank you"

"Adrian.. I should be thanking you.. I mean, not only have you helped me with my homework or gossiped with me about Malfoy," We both laugh, "But you have been there for me, and I appreciate that.." I mumble.

He smiles, "I want to see you.. in the holidays Mila.. I want to see you and get to know you more, would you like that?"

I chuckle as I look down at my feet before I look back up at him, "Yeah, I would like that"

His smile grows, "Okay, well mail me, anytime, any day, I'll be there"

"Okay, I will.. only if you mail me as well"

"Sure, do you want me to pinky promise as well?" He smirks.

I laugh, "No, you don't need to"

We both laugh as we continue to walk into the snow, continuing to have our normal conversation, till we reached the entrance of Hogwarts. As we enter the Great Hall, Alexa rushes over to me immediately, "Mila! Where have you been?! I have been looking all over for you! Where-" She stops herself once she looks to my side, once she realises Adrian was next to me. "Oh.. Uhh.. sorry.. I was worried.." She mumbles.

I smile, "It's okay, I was with Adrian" I say as I look up at him.

She widens her eyes, "The whole time?! You have been with him," She looks to her left, looking at the big clock that hanged on the wall, "For 8 hours?! Doing what if I may ask?!"

"Alexa!" I chuckle.

"Im sorry, I should've kept an eye on the time, I guess you lose track of time once your enjoying yourself" He mumbles as he looks at me. Alexa's face calms down a little, "Wait, I take it back, I should've not judged, I'm sorry-"

"It's alright, I wanted to go catch up with my friends," He looks at me, "I'll see you before we leave tomorrow, okay?" He says. I nod before he pulls me into a small hug. He pulls away slowly as he smiles, "Bye.." He whispers.

I smile back as he walks away, towards the Slytherin table. I look at Alexa, as she was already grinning, waiting for me to spill the gossip. "Well?" She asks.

I smile, "Well what?"

"Oh come on Mila! You've been with this guy for the past few months, and nothing has happened?!" She yells.
