Shivaay was surprised to see Annika standing near his shoulder. He puts a strong face on, Annika felt bad seeing him try to look strong. She knew she would regret what she was going to do but she wasn't ready to live with the guilt of not being there for him.
"Can I sit over there" asked Annika pointing over to the Space in the bench Shivaay was sitting on. Shivaay nodded and moved aside towards an end of the bench. Annika smiled at him and then sat on the bench with a long sigh.
"Shivaay, just keep calm and everything is going to be fine, I know it's a lot for you and it was a lot for me , She is literally my whole world and my life revolves around her, But I believe that everything is going to be fine" said Annika playing with her fingers and Shivaay nodded to Annika's words
"Annika tell me one thing, Why? Why did you hide this from me? Why did you hide a thing which is really close to me like this? This isn't the way I should have found this" said Shivaay with a shaking voice
"I-I" whispered Annika , she was speechless by his question. Shivaay was slowly nodding.
If she doesn't know the reason then why did she hide *me Rolling my eyes
"Do you think that I don't deserve to know that I have a daughter, my own blood , It's my daughter who is in the hospital bed and you didn't mind to tell me about her existence" said Shivaay , there was an awkward silence in the air , Annika looked down in Guilt. Each word he said hit her like some knives stabbing her.
"Annika, I've looked around a lot for you and you don't have any idea of what I have been through, you just left but it's not only that what you have done now is not right in any world, I deserve to know, any father deserves to know about his kid, Am I am exception in this?" Asked Shivaay with a heavy heart , his past wounds were resurfacing effortlessly. Annika was taking deep breaths
"Annika, I know that I am not a perfect person in any means, People don't know the real me and they call me Heartless, cold and many more things but that's not your case Annika , you know me and you are part of the few people who know the real Shivaay Singh Oberoi" said Shivaay
"I've done grave mistakes and I'm really sorry for them, I am being punished for it by you not being with for this long, you left me and I deserved it but hiding about my daughter is too much for a punishment" whispered Shivaay, his pain could be felt in his voice
"Annika tell me why? Why did you hide something like this from me? I'm a sinner but hiding about Shivi is too over the top? Tell me why don't I deserve to know about my daughter? Tell me why you chose to not to tell me about her?" Asked Shivaay in the verge of breaking down
"Shivaay I-I" whispered Annika and there was a big silence. Shivaay was getting annoyed by her silence. Annika was speechless, she didn't know what to say to his words, she did know that he was deeply hurt.
