Chapter 34

Author's point of view

Shivaay and Annika was very much surprised by what the doctor has said. They didn't talk about what has happened and resumed what they were doing, ignoring the remaining facts. They walked towards Shivi's room and saw her sleeping peacefully with a smile on her face.

"I really hope my baby gets fine really soon, I can't wait my butterfly flying again endlessly , she is so miserable in this hospital,I really want this to get over really soon and my baby girl be back to get cheerful and restless self" said Annika sitting next to Shivaay

"It will be all over soon Annika , She is a strong fighter and we fought one of the biggest battle, remaining everything is going to be alright real soon and she would be able to do whatever she wants according to her wishes, this is for the best" said Shivaay and Annika slowly nodded

Shivaay slowly held Annika's hands, he was having second thoughts but just went for it. To his surprise, she clutched his hands tight in a reassuring way. He had expected her to slap away his hand but he was really thankful that it didn't happen.

"Annika you are fine right, I'm here if you want anyone to speak to you, every thing is going to be completely alright so don't worry, Shivi is fighter Just like you and remember, after when all of this is over , you will be thinking why was I so disturbed" said Shivaay trying to cheer up Annika

"Not like me, I'm a coward most of the time, I don't face things when I should be, I run away from stuff just like that because I don't want to deal with this, I'm a coward who runs away" said Annika

Shivaay understand what she meant by "Run away" . She had just run away from the situation instead of confronting him but he knew that even if she confronted, it would end the same way but without the angel like daughters he care about so dearly. Everything happens for a reason.

"Don't say like that Annika, I know how much of a fighter you are, you took care of your siblings and you took care of my Angels being a single mother, you fought off all the responsibilities rested on your shoulders, you are a true fighter" said Shivaay and Annika slightly nodded

"You haven't slept properly for a while, I think you should go and get some sleep, don't worry I'm over here, you need to rest properly because it's getting too unhealthy for you at this point, go and get some sleep Annika" said Shivaay and Annika gave a murderous look.

"Am I thar boring to you that you want to me to get some sleep and shut up" said Annika, the Lack of sleep and stress were really getting her

"It's not like that Annika, I enjoy your company so much and I've missed you company so much all this while, it's just that you are really tired and stressed out, sleep might do the trick and you would wake up fresh by the time Shivi wakes up" said Shivaay trying his best to not offend her

"I'm not going to get some sleep, I'll be here annoying you" said Annika and he nodded

"So you want to get back in my baby's life, you just don't break their hearts like you always do, I can't see their tiny hearts being broken, you do have a habit of breaking hearts so my concerns are not crazy" said Annika, it hurt Shivaay but he knew that it was the truth

"I promise Annika, I'll try my best to never break the hearts of my Angels, they mean the world to me and I would never hurt them intentionally ,I know there's is no room for wrongs" said Shivaay and Annika hummed.

Annika was slowly slipping into darkness. She was getting sleepy. She slowly leaned into Shivaay's shoulders and was sleeping. He smiled seeing her calm face while sleeping. He adjusted himself to get Convineance.

Annika woke up with a smile, she had a decently comfortable sleep at the hospital. She found Shivaay sitting next to her and being a perfect pillow for her. She really liked his gesture. She smiled softly.

"The doctor said that she won't be waking up any soon, So do you want to get any coffee or anything like that, you must be hungry so why don't we both get something to eat" asked Annika and Shivaay looked at her all surprised

"Yeah , why not" said Shivaay......

I didn't die. I just had back to back exams with no much breaks, it was too hectic for me. I had an exam today but I had to go this to keep my word. Today's exam sucked sm ,I thought it would go decently but no.

If you feel this different or out of place, I'm sorry. I'm writing this at a completely different time and headspace. Annika is acting more open because she is tired and sleep at first. Sleepiness gets down your guards.
