Annika was going crazy after she heard the words. She knows that deep inside she is unable to pay the money but she couldn't understand the fact Shivaay paid it. Her ego wasn't allowing her to understand that he is the one to help and she was helpess.

"Shivaay Singh Oberoi" called out Annika in her angry self , Shivaay turned towards her and looked at her all innocently like he didn't do anything to make her angry
"Yes Annika , anything?" Asked Shivaay with an innocent look but Annika want buying the cute innocent look of his. She was really angry at him.

"Don't act innocent because you know what I'm mad About so please drop the show and that would only do good for you" said Annika in a Sassy tone
"What act, you are really confusing me Annika?" Asked Shivaay keeping up with his innocent look which was driving Annika crazy.

"Leave it! I told you so perfectly that I'll pay the expenses for the surgery and I am sure that you were able to perfectly hear what I said , you were pretty fine with that too then why the hell did you go and pay now? What are you trying to prove" asked Annika

"I'm not trying to prove anything but I can truly say that you are trying to prove some thing that doesn't exist, why can't you just let go some things" asked Shivaay and Annika rolled her eyes. Shivaay gave her a questioning look

"What do you mean by things that doesn't exist? I just asked to keep out of stuff which I don't want you around and I thought you understood that , why are snooping around stuff which I don't want you to" said Annika

"Annika! I heard you talking to you friends about all of the problems,if you have a problem in paying up you should have just allowed me to do it or just asked me,I would have done that without any second thoughts, I know it's hard as a single mother for all this while and I want to do something as a father too" said Shivaay

"Why do you put yourself in a tough spot and for what reason? Ever thought whom would you take with you when you put yourself in a tough spot , when you stop me , you put a stall on Shivi's health too" said Shivaay and Annika felt guilty for what she said

"You handled both of their expenses all these while and respect that, being held for a big amount at point you are raising two kids as a single mother, it's not easy and you have done an exceptional job in that" said Shivaay

"Don't burden yourself with too much responsibilities which will end up crushing you hard , I am their father and I am too responsible for being with them, I just want to do what I'm meant to do, you were there for them all these while" said Shivaay

"This time I would let you go but don't think next time I will, I will go to every extend to keep them away from you and you know that I won't think twice doing that" Said Annika and was going to walk away from Shivaay.

"Annika, are you telling me that you would take my kids away from me?" Asked Shivaay in his confident voice , he was feeling bad for what he is going to do but he knew that he has to do that for keeping his kids with him even though it might end up hurting Annika in the way.

"Yeah" said Annika

"So if you go on court , you should understand that you are just keeping them away from you by your own decision, just like in what position you are at this point, I can provide them everything you can and that is a really good point to change the custody into my hands" said Shivaay and Annika wanted to punch him so bad. She too knew that he was right .

"Just get over the fact that I paid and get ready with the stuff for Shivi's Surgery" said Shivaay in his confident way.

"So Shivi how are you doing, so we are going to do the surgery today and we will be all better after that, you can have all the fun and get out of this boring hospital , so be brave today" said the doctor and Shivi nodded

"So I asked the genie from Alladin to grant you a wish if you would be a good girl all along the surgery" said The doctor and Shivi's eyes lit up

Shivi whispered something in the doctors ears, Doctor gave a questioning look and she smiled.

"Let's go" said The doctor....

Ik I didn't update for a while , I was busy. I did the last chapter of another book real late so I didn't have time to update this one. I'll be more punctual, it's hard to be because i have school and It's getting hectic to write after getting back...I miss lockdown now! I would have written more often and effortlessly then...
