Chapter 17

Annika's point of view
My relation with Shivi had taken a bumpy road since Shivaay , Shivi has changed a lot. Shivi took the news really hard and i know that's it's hurting her a lot . I wish I could do something but I am helpless.

"Annika , are you fine" asked Daksh , I got out of my deep thoughts and I looked at him
"Yeah I'm perfectly fine Daksh" I said with a smile,I could say by looking at Daksh's face that he is getting concerned about me
"You sure, anyway I came here to tell you that I got the new project file" said Daksh and I nodded to his words

"So, I want to say that you should only this if you can because I can see in which position you are , I would say that you should take some leaves and spend some time with the kids" Said Daksh , he is so sweet and I feel so bad . He always is there for me when I fall to catch. I would have been in some foot path if it wasn't for him

"Daksh don't worry ,I can do it and it's my job, you are my boss Daksh , be like a boss but here you are acting like my fellow colleague with whom I'll gossip with" I said with a small smile and he chuckled to my comment , he gave me a side hug . He is always there for me to cheer up

"Yes Annika madam , today I'll join you in the trip" Said Daksh , usually when your boss joins you , you will start to groan but with Daksh it's like you got a surprise party
"Meet you soon" I said and he smiled

I took me phone from the desk and scrolled through my mood boards. I checked the file and their demands regarding the Event. The demands are usually the funniest part , some demands are really hilarious.

"Ma'am your tea" said Carla and placed the tea in my table
"Thank you Carla" I said with a smile and she returned me a cute smile.

Carla is my assistant , I am the head of the Event wing in Daksh's company. Daksh had started an Event wing , he made me the head and gave me a job. He was there for me when I needed someone the most. He is truly an angel.

"Ma'am  , The Kukreja's has approved the designs from their side , shall we start doing the things" asked Carla
"Did they sign the contract" I asked
"Yeah, they did" said Carla
"Then you all start , Carla I'll be leaving with Daksh to the new event order" I said to Carla and she nodded

I took my laptop and stalked the family of the new event. I took their Instagram accounts , best way to know about them. I pieced the demands and personality together and made a mood board outline of the event.

"Annika shall we leave" asked Daksh
"Let's go" I said

We both went to the the parking lot , We got into Daksh's car and he started driving towards their house. We had a fun car ride , we talked and had our fun time.

"Miss Annika, we liked the third board you created, we would like to move forward with that" said The Matriarch of the family
"Would you like to sign the contract now or later from the office" I also professionally
"Please send it to our lawyers and later we will come to your office for signing it" said the Patriarch of the family
"We will start the stuff as soon as the contract is signed" I said
"Yes sure" said the Patriarch

My phone started ringing , I slowly looked it while keeping it in my bag. It was Shivi's class teacher. Why is she calling me now? It might be something important.

"I have to attend this call" I said and I walked outside to take the call
"Hello" I said
"Hello ms.annika , I have something serious to talk to you about Shivika" said Her teacher, Daksh looked at me asking what happened with his expressions
"Tell me" I said, what happened to my baby
"Ms.Annika , Shivika has been admitted to the hospital since she had fainted today" said The class teacher

I felt my whole world was spinning. Daksh was holding me and giving me support. What is happening to my perfect life?

"Which hospital" I asked and Daksh looked at me completely taken back
"City Hospital" said her class teacher, I cut the phone
"Daksh we need to go the city hospital fast , it's Shivi" I said and Daksh nodded......

Next chapter most probably would be the most favourite chapter of mine. I just simply can't wait to write the next chapter. Find it on Friday, I'm so excited!!!!
Btw there is no reason why I'm giving Daksh lots of love
