Heyes looked at Maddy then at kid then at the man who had just appeared out from behind the bush. He gagged at the smell that reached his nostrils. Obviously Maddy and kid had just smelled it too because they both retreated slightly and gagged.

The man approached them with a huge grin on his face which reached his eyes. Maddy didn't like it. She stepped ever so slightly in front of heyes. She wanted to protect him from mclaggen.

"Step aside girlie!" Mclaggen growled.

"In your dreams mclaggen!" She hissed back.

"Its you!"

Heyes looked wildly towards his partner who had just shouted. "What?"

"Its them! The men Maddy were talking to when i saw her" kid pointed towards mclaggen then looked at Maddy.

"Come here Maddy and let us finish our job. Your work here is done" mclaggen huffed.

Heyes looked at Maddy. A thousand emotions crossed his face. One after the other. His eyes showed the most. Hurt. That's all she could see. "Maddy!?"

"I'm sorry."she chocked on her tears. She went to stand beside mclaggen feeling dirty and used.

Heyes watched as Maddy went to stand beside mclaggen. Guilt written all over her face. He could feel his world completely shatter into little pieces around him.

Mclaggen signalled to two men behind him and pointed at the boys. They turned around to run off but bumped into one of mclaggens minions. He seized heyes by the arm. His fingers digging into him.

"Ouch! Let me go!"

Another guy seized the kid who started to struggle.

"Please leave them alone!" Maddy cried desperately.

"Shut it you" he approached her dangerously. Hatred in his eyes. She doubled back. "Carter? Take the girl away"

Carter stepped forward and pinned maddys arms by her sides.

"Ive done the job. I've brought the boys here. Release my family!" Maddy stood struggling again carter.

"Not yet girlie" mclaggen replied. "Take her away"

"Please! You said!" She screamed. But mclaggen didn't turn round. He continued walking over towards the boys.

She was dragged over to a tree and pushed to her knees. "Stay there" carter snarled. He stood ,guarding her, his gun pointing at her. She pulled her knees up to her chin, the tears falling silently down her cheeks. Why did everything have to be complicated?

Heyes looked at Maddy, who was sat by a tree , guarded by a man. Why didn't he just have listened to the kid? Damn it. For once it was himself that got them into trouble. Not kid. Why had he fallen for it? Because he was just to punch drunk with love that's why. He could kick himself. Hannibal heyes was never this stupid. Maybe kid but not him. He stumbled slightly as he tripped over a log. He fell hard to his knees, scrapping his hands on the rough ground.

"Get up!" One of mclaggens minions yelled. He pulled heyes up by his shirt and pushed him forward. Heyes glared at him. Thy stopped in a middle of a camp site about two minutes away from where they had first encountered mclaggen.

"Over there" the dark haired one growled. Pushing them both forward. They were sat down on the ground and their hands tied. They were left alone for a minute while the men went to find mclaggen.

"This is great. Just perfect" kid muttered.

Heyes didn't say anything. He was thinking of Maddy.
