"I need help with my homework" Markani said sliding his paper across the bed all 4 of us had to share.
"Which subject?" I asked him as he doodled on a piece of paper that was on the nightstand. "Math"
"Here you can copy off my paper" I said handing him my paper out of my book bag and a eraser. "What you give me a eraser for?" He asked me.
"Because you write sloppy, and get atleast one wrong or she gone know you copied" I told him before turning on the tv.
"How you know" He said twisting his lips to the side of his face with one eye squinted.
"We have the same teacher Kani" I said looking at him blankly before he scratched his head. "You in my class?"
"Yeah, you don't ever see me because all you is sleep" I told him turning the channel to a cooking show I watch when i'm bored.
"What time does Malayjeah get off?" He asked me as I shrugged my shoulders. "What time is it?" He asked me as I let out a huff.
"Markani look at the clock" I said, it was now 6:34pm "She should be here in any second" I said placing my attention back on the television.
"You bleeding?" He asked me as I looked at him confused. "Where?" I said checking my arms and my legs.
"Between your legs?" He said as I stale faced him. "No you just getting on my nerves" I said rolling my eyes.
"You and jeah act the same way when y'all bleeding, couldn't be me" He said as I flicked him off.
"Hmm y'all want some?" Malayjeah asked coming in the room with a bag of Harold's chicken. "Whatchu get me?" Markani asked running towards her.
"Your usual, here zouri this yours" She said taking out a box. "They give you any sauce?" I asked her as she rolled her eyes.
"Petty as hell with they sauces" She said taking out another box and putting the next box in the microwave.
"Y'all finish y'all home work?" She asked as I nodded my head, opening my box I embrace the smell of chicken and fries.
"Damn I can taste it without even eating it" Markani said as Malayjeah started laughing. "You fat as hell" She said closing her box.
"I need to get me a phone" She said walking towards the bathroom as I started to eat my chicken.
"You want some?" Markani asked me pulling out a jug of Hawaiian punch. "Yeah" I said putting my attention on the tv.
"Y'all get in the shower?" Malayjeah asked coming out the bathroom as I wiped my greasy fingers. "I did, Markani didn't" I said grabbing my cup.
"I need to smell like a man" He said biting his chicken before Malayjeah smelt his under pits. "You smell like you live in a triflin ass trailer" She said pinching her nose as I shook my head.
"Y'all haters, like this is really unbelievable and preposterous" He said walking towards the bathroom as I cocked my head back.
