Chapter 17

"Kaya pala hindi ka nag lunch kasi may hidden agenda ka." Rheniel said.

"Oh edi ginutom ka. Kawawa ka naman tsk tsk." Binatukan ni Rheniel si Rhea.

"Hindi pa kami tapos mag usap ha! " Rheniel shouted at Rhea.

Parang aso't pusa talaga ang dalawang 'to.  Nagbabatukan na. Jaime remained silent at the corner. She's in deep thought.

"Jaim, may problema ka ba? Okay ka lang? " I asked her.

"H-ha? Ahm... Oo, okay lang ako. Wala akong problema. Iniisip ko lang ang assessment namin mamaya."

She's acting weird. Oh well, maybe it's just me who thinks she's acting weird. Baka nag-iisip lang siya ng mabuti para sa assessment nila mamaya. Rhea and Rheniel are both busy arguing with each other.

I sighed.

I've got weirdos friends but I felt blessed. Imagine, having a weird kind of friends but true and loyal to you. Weirdos and sometimes acting childish but never leave your side through thick and thin, ups and downs. Weirdos but always there for you, when you needed them. I guess that's the best kind of friendship that worth keeping for. I'll be forever thankful for having them in my life.

They hugged me before they bid their goodbyes. May klase pa sila. I still have 45 minutes before my class in Arch2 starts. I decided to go back in my classroom. On my way, I saw Rhys walking with that girl again.

Ugh, kairita!

I ignored them as I keep on walking. At my peripheral vision, I saw them looked at me when I passed by. 

Tingin tingin niyo dyan? Tusukin ko mata niyo na parang fishball eh!

I went upstairs and went inside the room. I'd rather waste my remaining 45 minutes here doing nothing than watching the two of them being sweet to each other. Like, what the fvck?! Do I look like I care, huh?

Of course I am!  Magsama sila hanggang mamatay!

I felt my blood starts to boiled up as I remembered the scenes happened yesterday and then a while ago.

When our professor arrived for our Arch2 class, I tried to composed myself and focused on the discussion.

After an hour class in Arch2, I went to the Library. I'll borrow books, mag aadvance study ako sa bahay mamaya. Kesa naman sa iisipin ko lang ng iisipin si Rhys at ang babae niya. I rolled my eyes heavenwards. I entered the library and searched for the books. When I found it, pinalista ko kaagad ang mga hihiramin ko. I went out after that. Nakasalubong ko pa si Kaiden pagkalabas ko.

"Uy, Ave." he greeted me.

"Hey." I greeted back.

"Tulungan na kita." he offered.

Dahil nahihiya akong bitbitin niya ang ilan sa mga librong hawak ko, pinabitbit ko na sa kanya ang lahat.

"Uuwi ka na?" he asked me.

"Oo." I simply replied.

"How are you?" he asked.

"I'm fine." I answered him with a force smile plastered on my face.

Yeah, I'm fine. Super fine. Parang gusto ko nga pumatay ng dalawang hayop. Animal!

"That's good to hear."

"Ikaw?  Kamusta ang pag mo-move on?"

"Well, I think, I am starting to move on. Tingin ko nga naka-move on na ako eh."

"Really huh? That fast?"

"Bakit? Ayaw mo 'kong mag move on? "

I laughed.

"Of course I want you to move on. I didn't expect it to be this fast. But I'm glad you did. I'm happy that you finally letting yourself to move on."

"And you know what?"

I frowned.

"What?" I asked him.

"I've met this girl. She's my classmate but I never noticed her."

"Woah, woah hold up." I raised my right hand to stopped him from talking. "Don't tell me, you..." I pointed my index finger to him and didn't bother to finished my words. He nodded.

"Yeah, I think I'm being captivated by her smile."

"Holy shit! Hahahahaha." I laughed.

"What? It's true. Why the hell are you laughing?" He asked.

"I know but..." I laughed again. "Captivated by her smile amputa hahahaha korni mo tanga!" I laughed harder this time.

Umiling siya tsaka natawa na rin.

On our way downstairs, we talked about the girl he's talking about. But the girl was still an anonymous. He never named the girl. Secret daw muna.

"Ako na dito." I took the books I borrowed from the library from his hands. "Umuwi ka na nga, ang korni korni mo na." I chuckled.

"You sure?" he asked.

"Kaya ko na 'to. Hindi naman mabigat."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye, babe." I joked. I remembered he told me that he told the girl "bye, babe." before he left their classroom, leaving the girl speechless.

He chuckled.

Before I could bid my proper goodbye to Kaiden, I saw Rhys standing just an inches away from us leaning his back on the wall at the corner. Looking at-- glaring at us. Papalit-palit ang tingin niya sa amin ni Kaiden. I remained frozen at my spot, same as Kaiden.

"Maybe this is the right time where I will exit myself, leaving the both of you here, right?" Kaiden leaned closer to me before whispering in my ear.

"Yeah, I think you should." I whispered back.

Kaiden walks out silently. While me and Rhys remained on our spots. Glaring at each other. No one dares to talk nor to move. I felt the atmosphere getting intense as the time passed by. I could hear our breathing that's full of frustration and anger. No one dares to broke the silence between us. How dare him! Nasaan na ang babae niya na parang ahas kung lumingkis sa braso niya. Himala at hindi niya kasama. He stood up straight before he walks the distance between us without breaking an eye contact on me. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of there. He keeps on walking while pulling me to follow him. He's walking fast and I'm a bit uncomfortable because I'm not used to walk this fast in my whole entire life, fvck it! He pulled me inside of an empty room.

"Teka nga! Ano ba--" before I could protest, he closed the door and pushed me lightly at the back of it before he leaned closer and slammed his lips on mine.

"Fvck! I hate you." he whispered.
