"She luckily didn't." I clarified.
"Good, at least we're not the only Volunteers left." Violet sighed positively.
It all suddenly went quiet, so I decided to break it by saying, "The world is quiet here."
Klaus nodded.
Violet laughed a bit then sighed again, "I miss Jacques, I'm glad he said that."
"He's said that since I was little." I mumbled, smiling a little.
"He's said that since the Village of Fowl Devotees."
"I'm glad Count Olaf is gone, I couldn't imagine my family and yours once being friends with him, Father used to say he was my uncle.."
"That would be disgusting if that was true, that's what Mr Poe said to us and we refuse to believe it to this day."
"I do too." I laughed.
"The Quagmires said there was something in a book saying that your parents created VFD."
"Obviously, that's not true...sadly.."
"Then, who did?"
"Count Olaf's father."
"We're volunteers to Olaf?"
"The Father of Count Olaf, it's not as bad because he was on our side of the schism."
"I still don't like the sound of that, Olaf and his family are sinister even if they weren't as bad."
"Same here, but we've got to deal with it..."

We got up from the radiator and I went to the toilet.
I came out and got blasted by hot air, there was Klaus with the hair dryer.
I burst out laughing, "Klaus, no!"
Klaus burst out laughing and eventually stopped the hair dryer.
I went into the bathroom and started flicking water at him.
We laughed until we had tears in our eyes.
We were both soaked again as he started flicking water back at me.
He grabbed my arm, making me unable to run away and put a lot of water on my hair. I shook my head, making drops of water flair at him.
He hugged me, trying to get all the water off of him, but sadly he only got more wet, "I need the hair dryer!"
I let go of him and grabbed the hair dryer putting it on the highest setting, "there you go!"
He tried to take the hair dryer off me when a loud noise was heard downstairs.
I dropped the hairdryer and ran down, Klaus following.

Justice Strauss had taken a fall, but it didn't look as if it was by accident, more like somebody had done it.
Klaus and Violet yelled at Justice Strauss to wake up, but she didn't make a sound...or breathe.
I backed off slowly and teared up. I may have not known her for long, but death is death.
I picked up Beatrice and hugged her tightly whispering, "it's okay." as she began to cry.
Klaus checked to see if Justice Strauss was alive, sadly it was negative.
I stared at the space around me, then at the Baudelaires, then at Justice Strauss, not knowing what to do.
Violet had started crying as well as me. Klaus had teared up, but stayed strong.
"This is an unfortunate event...." I mumbled.
"I'm not sure what happened to her." Klaus admitted.
"I'm not sure if anyone does." Violet mumbled.
"I should call Jacqueline while we still can." I suggested and walked over to the phone, dialing her number.
The Baudelaires followed me as I waited for the ringing to end and for someone to pick up.
"Hello, Jacqueline speaking." She picked up.
"Hey, Jacqueline, it's Charlotte." I said.
"Oh, hey, did you get my note?"
"Yes, I got the note. I'm having to keep it safe, Esme and the duo are back."
"Oh, perfect. Anything else?"
"Can you pick us up from Count Olaf's street? We just have a problem.."
"What is it?"
"Father and Justice Strouse..."
"What happened to them, Charlotte?"
"They've been murdered." I admitted, starting to sob, "and we don't know where to go."
"I'm coming right now just...hold on.." she hung up.

I hugged everyone and they hugged me back as we all started to sob.
"S-she's coming n-now..." I stuttered on Klaus's shoulder.
They all nodded.
I waited as they grabbed their stuff, the essentials just in case.
I grabbed the Complete Encyclopedia of Nouns for Klaus and out it in my small bag.
A small knock came from the door, thinking it was Jacqueline, I opened it to find Tommo.
He hugged me tightly, "Jacqueline called."
"Tommo, you know what happened?" I asked.
"Yes, of course I do. I had to walk all the way here from home. I couldn't take the tunnels, hey had.been bolted shut."
"What?" I questioned as I pulled away.
"I know.."
"Good to see you Tommo.." violet mumbled.
"Hey, Violet, Klaus and Sunny..Beatrice.." Tommo replied, his sad expression never changing.
I looked at the ground, sighing.
Klaus had taken most of the library with him, so much that I had to put most of it in my bag.
